And here it is my inspiration, that features the Unicorns and Glitter stamp set.

I don't know why, but when I saw the diagonal stripe, I instantly thought of a rainbow, so I looked through my stash and I found this adorable girl.

I firstly decided my color palette, that I wanted to keep really simple: I went for a bright yellow, teal and pink, and I'm so happy because I think they work really great together.

I firstly stamped my two protagonist on a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring paper, which is great for copic coloring (see below for copic combos) and I die cut them using coordinating dies.

I then started working on my background panel. I chose three coordinated colored cardstock (Cotton Candy, Summer Splash and Lemon Drop) and I die cut three strips 0,25" wide. For a glittery touch, I also die cut a smaller strip of Silver Sparkle cardstock and I glued them all on an A2 piece of Smooth White cardstock. To create a frame, I die cut the panel using the largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle die.

When everything was ready, I used foam tape to attach my protagonists, I stamped the sentiment using black ink and I added some "sparkly" accents using Gravel Gray ink. To complete the whole card, I matted it using an A2 piece of the same Smooth White cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it! Be sure to check the MFT blog to see all the other DT's creations.

Yeah! The July MFT&Friends Release is now live!

The newest release is really great and includes so many stamps, dies, and a new ink pad color too!

There is also a free with 60$ purchase, the Happy Birthday Stamp Set.

In today's card, I feature the Summer Safari stamp set.

You may know I love scene cards, and this is no exception. I must say I was inspired by the one and only Sandy Allnock, she did a similar card a while ago, featuring another giraffe stamp, and I couldn't resist to make my version.

I firstly stamped the giraffe on a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring paper, as I planned to color with copics. And then I started creating the scene, using copics (you can find the list below). I usually start with the background, and then color the stamped images.

When I finished the scene, which was 4,25"x5,5", I realized I didn't like the format. So, I took the Slimline Starter die-namics and I die cut a "strip", that matches to the giraffe's height.

I then looked in my patterned pads and I found this Stripe Splash, which was perfect to create the A2 card base.

To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Smooth White cardstock and I die cut it using the Slimline Skinny Strips die.

Thanks for stopping by! I really hope you will like my project and be sure to leave a comment telling me what are your favorite of the release. And check the MFT blog too, there is a blog hop and you can win a 100$ shopping spree!

Have you already prepared your shopping list for the MFT July Release? It's the final countdown day and the release will go live tomorrow, at 10am EST.

Today the DT is showcasing two new stamp sets, a standalone die and a new rubber background stamp.

In my card I feature the Bunch of Happiness stamp set as well as the Happy Birthday Party dienamics.

This fruit made me smile, it is so much fun and perfect for a summer card! And what about the die? I love all the small decoration you can add to the letters: you could use that writing by itself for a clean and simple card too!

To create my card, I stamped all the images on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored everything with copics. I used bright colors, because I wanted my card to be happy! When everything was ready, I also die cut them using coodinating dies.

I then moved to the Happy Birthday Party die: I chose 4 colored cardstock (Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Tropical Teal and Amarena Cherry) and I die cut everything from each color. I then started choosing how to assemble the letters, how to combine colors. And here's my trick: as there are so many small pieces, I took a scrap of white paper and I used an embossed mat to emboss the die on the paper. Then I took 4 copics with a similar color and started to color the letters and the additions: in this way I planned the whole "result" and I knew exactly what to pick up from the 4 colored die cuts.

I prepared a slimline base using Smooth White cardstock and I started to attach everything: I glued all the letters and I used foam tape for the fruits. I also matted the scene using the same Tropical Teal cardstock and I completed the card adding two stamped sentiments.

To finish my card, I added some Glossy Accents on the cherry and orange's glasses!

I really hope you will like the result.
