Are you ready for a new MFT Release Countdown?

It's that time of the month again and today it is the first day of previews. The release will be live on July 6th at 10am EDT.

There are tons of new products, but today the Design Team is showcasing some stamps designed by Tiddly Inks! Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the amazing DT creations!

And here it is my first card of the July Release, featuring the Double Scoop of Cute stamp set.

I love ice cream and I couldn't love this gilr more...She is going to eat the best ice cream ever!

I firstly stamped the girl on a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring paper, using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then imagined a simple scene, you may know I love scene cards! I thought she was walking in a park and when she saw the ice cream booth, she decided to have one. I wanted my background to be really soft, so I didn't use a fineliner to outline the scene; I also stamped the ice-cream stamp on the truck, using some Distress Ink in Antique Linen to coordinate with the no-line coloring of the background.

I colored everything with Copic Markers (see below for the combos) but I also added some details (like the ones on the greenery) using some tone-on-tone Polychromos Pencils.

When everything was ready, I die cut the girl using coordinating dies and attached her to my background, using some foam tape. I also stamped the sentiment.

To complete my card, I decided to matt the whole scene using the Fuchsia Poppin Dolka patterned sheet.

I really hope you will like the card and be sure to check the MFT blog to leave a comment, for a chance to win a 75$ shopping spree!

Hi friends and welcome back!

I am really thrilled to show you my third card as a Guest Designer for Sweet November Stamps. They have recently came out with a brand new release, which is absolutely MERMAZING!

Today's card features the Aquata stamp, which is totally adorable. I really love the little mermaid hugging the little octopus!

When I saw the stamp, I instantly thought to create a big HUGS sentiment, as it was perfect for the image. And I realized that a slimline format would have fit better for the card I had in mind.

I stamped the cutest mermaid on the right, and the two hermit crabs (that come from the Mermees Set #2) at the bottom of my card. I used some Transotype Perfect Coloring paper, which is perfect for copic coloring.

I then started from the background, "building" the seabed and the ocean. I did many coloring layers, starting from the lightest colors to the darkest. I was inspired by the Underwater Scenes Copic class by Sandy Allnock, she is a great artist and I absolutely love her classes.

I then colored the little mermaid and all the smallest critters: I went for a purple-teal-pink palette, I really love this combo! I also added many details with White Gel Pen, especially some shining points on her mermaid tail. When my coloring was done, I die cut the scene using a slimline die.

To create the sentiment, I firslty colored a piece of paper with the same combo I used for the mermaid's hair: in this way the sentiment perfectly match my scene and I don't have to buy many colored cardstock. I then die cut the letters and I glued white letters behind, to create a white halo.

I also completed the sentiment by stamping the remaining words from a Lawn Fawn stamp set.

I matted the scene using a larger piece of white cardstock and here it is!

Thanks for stopping by and I really hope you will like the result!

Hi friends and Happy Monday!

Today I'm back with another Hello Bluebird card, featuring the adorable critters from Word Buddies Jungle.

As I couldn't decide which one was my favorite critter, I tried to feature as many as I could!

They are really enjoying a safari trip.

Well, this card isn't so complicated, but there was a bit of masking to do. I firstly tried to figure how to arrange critters on a piece of copy paper, so I stamped all (without masking anything) and drew the Jeep. In this way I could figure out what to stamp first and what to mask.

At the beginning, I drew the car with a pencil on a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring Paper and I masked it, using Judikins Masking Roll. Then, I prepared the masking pieces for the gorilla, the sloth and the monkey at the top. I then started stamping those three critters, as they needed to be stamped first. Then I masked them and stamped all the rest.

When everything was done, I removed the masking paper and I used a Fineliner to outline the Safari Jeep.

I was finally able to color everything! See below for all the copic combos I used.

I die cut the scene using a stitched rectangle die.

For the background piece, I took a piece of A2 Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and I stamped the Old Oak background, using dark brown ink. I think this texture is really great for scenes like this!

To complete my card, I white heat embossed the sentiment (which comes from Jungle Littles stamp) on a piece of yellow cardstock and attached in the upper right part.

Thank you for stopping by! I really hope you'll like the result!
