Are you ready? The MFT July Release is just around the corner! It will be live on July 6th at 10am EDT.

Today the DT is highlighting two new stamps sets designed by Rachelle Anne Miller, called Sweet Surprise and Beautiful Birthday Girl, as well as a Happy Birthday Stamp Set, which will be a free with 60$ purchase.

Make sure to head over the MFT blog to see all the previews!

This was a super simple card to make, and it could be mass produced as well!

When it comes with simple cards like this, I usually choose my color palette, so I went for a lime green, a deep yellow and a bright fuchsia, I thought they were perfect together.

I firstly started stamping my image on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it using copics (see below for combos). I then die cut it using coordinating dies.

I then moved to my background: I positioned the Watercolor Wash Stencil at the top of my A2 panel and I ink blended using blending brushes to have a soft result. I used Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed and Kitsch Flamingo. I then die cut the panel using the largest of the new Double Stitched Rectangle dies.

I stamped one of the sentiment of the set below and I realized the card was a bit "empty". So I look through my crafty stash and I found the Shadow Box Swag: they were perfect to add to the scene.

I die cut the back using a Smooth White cardstock colored with W8 (as I don't have a dark grey cardstock!) and all the banners from some different cardstock and patterned paper, to match the color palette chosen.

I also matted the card using an A2 Black Licorice cardstock panel and I added just a few sparkling sequins to complete the scene.

Hope you like the result!

Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT July Release Day? It will be live on July 6th, at 10am EDT.

Today I am showcasing a stampset as well as a new tropical background die, which perfectly matches to my scene!

I've recently seen lots of tropical cards and I am in a summer-tropical mood, so I couldn't resist those amazing birds!

I must say I had a totally different idea of the card at the beginning: I wanted a tone on tone background, using a white die cut on a white piece of cardstock. But then, my boyfriend suggested me to ink blend the background and I think he was right!

I firstly stamped all the images on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black. I then colored using Copics (you can find all the color combos I used below) and I die cut everything with coordinating dies.

I also die cut the Leafy Layer Cover Up die-namics from a piece of Smooth White cardstock. As this die is quite intricate, I suggest you to use a Precision Base Plate, it will help you to cut it perfectly.

I layered to a piece of A2 of the same cardstock and here I realized the white on white look didn't work as in my imagination and I followed my BF suggestion. I ink blended the background using Distress Oxides in Scattered Straw, Dried Marygold, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire.

When the background was ready, I attached everything using liquid glue and foam tape, in order to create dimension. To complete the card, I white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of Black Licorice cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by! I really hope you will like it and be sure to check the MFT blog for a chance to win a 75$ shopping spree... And for further DT inspirations too!

Are you ready for the new MFT July Release? There are 4 days until you can shop it. It will go live on July 6th at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today the DT is highlighting a new Stacey Yacula stamp set, as well as three brand new stencils and a new lowercase stitched alphabet, which perfectly match the previous released one. And this is the card I made for today!

This is a really simple card, which could be reproduced with many different customized sentiment.

A few days ago, I saw a beautiful tutorial by Francine Vuillème, and I was totally inspired to create something like her. I took a piece of 3,75"x5" Smooth White cardstock, which is perfect for ink blending, and I used the newest Watercolor Wash Free Form stencil to create the background. I've used many regular Distress Ink colors: Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmelade and Picked Raspberry.

I then die cut all the letters I needed for that sentiment, twice from the Blue Beyond Prestige Cardstock, and once from the Silver Sparkle cardstock. I glued them so that the blue appeared just a bit.

To complete my card, I've also added some of the Love Speech Bubble, using the same cardstock and I matted the panel using an A2 piece of the same Smooth White cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other inspirations and for a chance to win a 75$ shopping spree!
