Hi friends and welcome back with a new summer card, featuring Hello Bluebird products.

I wanted to create a different scene, a sea ship, featuring some jungle critters. And I really love how it turned out.

I firstly sketched the boat and then I masked the bottom part. As I wanted a no-line look, I stamped the critters (the lion comes from the Jungle Littles stamp, while the elephant from the Elephant Friends) using some Gina K Warm Glow ink. I colored everything with copic markers (see below for the combos). When I color no-line with markers, I am usually really "imperfect", so I usually add details with Polychromos pencils. I use tone on tone pencils to define edges, to add details and to deepen the shadows.

I then moved to my sentiment, which I wanted to customize using the Jane Small Alpha die. I used copics to color some white cardstock and to create a blended look. I also stamped separately the words "you" and "soon" as I didn't have one together.

After finishing this passage, I added white gel pen details, such as the polka dots on the pink sail.

To complete the card, I added the scalloped frame, using Gallery Frame #2 and some light grey cardstock.

I really love how it turned out, I love the no-line look!

Thanks for stopping by and I really hope you will like it too!

Hi friends and welcome back to my blog! Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using Purple Onion Designs rubber stamps.

All those critters are illustrated by Stacey Yacula, I love her designs so much!

I wanted to create a simple design, and I wanted to feature those 5 friends: I firstly stamped all of them on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, as I planned to do some copic coloring and some distress ink blending. I only had to mask the mouse, as his face is in front od the squirrel's tail.

I then masked all of them, using Judikins Masking roll, and I ink blended the background. I used Distress Oxides in Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio, and I also splattered some water, some acrilic paint and some distress in Wilted Violet to give some texture to my background.

I then removed the masking and I colored everything using copic markers (see below for the combos).

To complete my scene, I stamped the big bold sentiment in the left-upper part, using Versafine CLAIRE in Medieval Blue. If you haven't seen yet, there are a lot of giant sentiment on the Purple Onion shop, and they are really great!

As a finishing touch, I matted the scene using a blue and white patterned paper.

I really love the result, hope you will like too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello crafty friends! Itโ€™s time for a brand new Color Challenge from MFT Stamps! The colors for this challenge are Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Chantilly Cream and Fire Coral. You donโ€™t have to use the exact colors shown but rather ones that these colors inspire you to use.

I really love this color palette!

And here it is my inspiration, that features the BB Birthday Bears stamp set.

I created a birthday card, but I wanted to customize my sentiment to change the word birthday in BEARthday, as the bear was the main protagonist of my card.

I stamped the bear on a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring paper and I colored it using light brown tones, as suggested by the Chantilly Cream color. I also die cut him using coordinating dies.

I then die cut three baloons using the Baloons STAX dienamics: I die cut from colored cardstock (Summer Splash, Fire Coral and Tropical Teal). I used some twine to create the ballons' ropes.

I wanted a really simple background, so I took a 3,25"x7,25" piece of Smooth White cardstock and I stamped the Happy Birthday Background using the Gravel Grey premium die ink. I also die cut three times the BEAR letters from some Fire Coral cardstock: before gluing them together, I added some Distress Ink in Festive Berries, to create a little shade at the bottom.

I added everything using foam tape or liquid glue and I attached the ballon rope to the bear hand.

I also completed the sentiment stamping two of the Bitty Birthday Wishes phrases.

To complete the card, I added some White Gel Pen lines and I matted the whole card using a bigger piece of Summer Splash cardstock.

I really hope you will like it!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check the MFT blog to see al, the other DT membersโ€™ inspirations!
