And here it is my inspiration, that features the Bitty Bears stamp set.

For this card I was inspired by Maria Peters: she is an incredible crafter and I am really in love with her rainbow cards, she is the master with colored cardstock.

I firstly prepared the frontal panel, which measures 4,5"x4,5" and I used the second smallest circle from A2 Stitched Circle to create the 6 holes. I then took another piece of Smooth White Cardstock of the same dimensions and drew with a pencil line where the holes were, in order to know where to color. I used copics (see below for combos). On small piece of Neenah Solar White I stamped the six little bears and colored them really quickly, I then cut them out using coordinating dies.

I layered the "hole" piece with the colored one, and attached the bears using foam tape. I also added the white embossed sentiment on a piece of Black Licorice cardstock.

To finish the card, I added a larger piece of Smooth White cardstock, to create a small frame.

I really hope you will like it and be sure to check the MFT blog to see all the other DT's creations.

Hi crafty friends! The newest MAGNOLIA BLOSSOM Card Kit is finally available for purchase!!

The Magnolia Blossom Card Kit includes:

  • Magnolia Blossoms Clear Stamp Set

  • Magnolia Blossoms Die-namics

  • 5 Sheets of Watercolor Paper

  • 1 Extreme Black Ink Cube, which is perfect for both alcohol and water based coloring

And now, let's take a peek of my project, that features the new kit!

Flowers are always perfect for elegant cards, and this is what I created. It is a really simple card, but I enjoyed the process.

I wanted to do some no-line coloring, so I started stamping the image using some Distress Ink in Antique Linen: if you haven't any other no-line ink, this one is simply perfect. I used the watercolor paper included in the kit, as I planned to do some watercoloring using Distress Inks.

I then started watercoloring: I used the wet on wet technique for the flowers and I simply used two colors: Victorian Velvet and Dried Marigold, which has a beautiful orange touch.

For the branches and the smallest leaves, I used the wet on dry technique with Vintage Photo, Antique Linen and Peeled Paint.

As always, when I do no-line coloring both with alcohol and watercoloring, I added many details (especially on edges) using some coordinated Polychromos pencils.

To complete my card, I die cut the central panel using the second largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set and I bronze heat embossed the sentiment.

I then matted the whole scene using a piece of 4.25"x5.5" Neenah Desert Storm cardstock.

I really hope you will like the result!

Let me know what do you think and be sure to head over to the MFT blog: there is a bloghop and you can win a 50$ shopping spree!

Hi friends and happy Saturday!

Today I'd like to share with you one of my latest cards, made with Hello Bluebird products.

I've recently seen a Reel on Instagram by Sandy Allnock that inspired me to create this scene: I really loved her background and I wanted to recreate it.

This little girl from Seaside Girls stamp was perfect, so I stamped her on a piece of 4"x6" Transotype Perfect Coloring paper. I used some Memento Black ink, which is copic friendly, but I removed a bit of ink on her legs, in order to have a lighter border (as they are underwater).

I then started coloring using my beloved markers (see below for colors): on scenes like this one, I usually start from the background, because I am not sure of the result. If I like how it comes out, I'll also color the other stamped images. I started from the sky, then moved to the sea (firslty with lighter lines, then moved to darker ones) and the small island with palms. I also added some white gel pen lines to create waves and I was in love with the result, so I colored the gilr too. I used deeper and richer colors for her, as she was the main protagonist of my scene.

I then moved to the sentiment: i like to customize sentiments using die cuts that coordinates to the colors of my scene. I took a piece of white cardstock and colored it using BV29 - BV17 - BV13 - BV20 (to match the girl's dress) and I die cut the "friend" word, using the Hello Friend die. I die cut three times and glue them together to create some depth. I also stamped the rest of the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink.

When I was done, I matted the scene using white cardstock and a piece of Lawn Fawn - Really Rainbow Scallops patterned paper.

I really hope you will like the result, thanks for stopping by!
