Hello Bluebird | SEA you soon

Hi friends and welcome back with a new summer card, featuring Hello Bluebird products.

I wanted to create a different scene, a sea ship, featuring some jungle critters. And I really love how it turned out.

I firstly sketched the boat and then I masked the bottom part. As I wanted a no-line look, I stamped the critters (the lion comes from the Jungle Littles stamp, while the elephant from the Elephant Friends) using some Gina K Warm Glow ink. I colored everything with copic markers (see below for the combos). When I color no-line with markers, I am usually really "imperfect", so I usually add details with Polychromos pencils. I use tone on tone pencils to define edges, to add details and to deepen the shadows.

I then moved to my sentiment, which I wanted to customize using the Jane Small Alpha die. I used copics to color some white cardstock and to create a blended look. I also stamped separately the words "you" and "soon" as I didn't have one together.

After finishing this passage, I added white gel pen details, such as the polka dots on the pink sail.

To complete the card, I added the scalloped frame, using Gallery Frame #2 and some light grey cardstock.

I really love how it turned out, I love the no-line look!

Thanks for stopping by and I really hope you will like it too!

Hugs from Italy,
