Are you ready for the MFT January Release? There are only 2 days until the release, which will be live on Tuesday 11th, at 10am EST.

Today the DT is highlighting some Gnome-themed stuff and this is the card I created.

I really really love that Giant Love die-namics, it is perfect to fill in both horizontal and vertical A2 cards.

I firstly started ink-blending and A2 panel, using Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick. I then splattered the two darkest colors in the two "half" of the panel and some Pearl White Gansai Tambi Starry Watercolor.

While the background was drying, I started working on the images: I stamped some gnomes from Love you gnome matter what and the Love to my gnomies, which is a freebie with 60$ purchase. I used Memento Black ink, since I wanted to color with copics (you can find the full list below). I then die cut everything using coordinating dies.

I also die cut the Giant Love three times, twice from Smooth White cardstock and once from Eiffel Tower cardstock: i glued them together slightly moving the darkest die cut to create a halo to my letters. I also white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of the same Eiffel Tower cardstock.

I die cut the background panel using the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 and I arranged everything on my scene: I used both liquid glue and foam adhesive to create layers.

To complete the card, I added some white polymer clay confetti at the top right angle and I matted the whole scene using a 4,5"x5,75" White Cardstock.

And that's all for today!

Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT January Release Day? It will be live on January 11th, at 10am EST.

For today's card I played again with alcohol markers and the newest stamp set illustrated by Tiddly Inks, called "Sweet Honey Bee".

I firstly started with the alcohol ink background. I applied some Dandelion, some Sunset Orange and some Gold Mixative and I let them move using blending solution. I am always afraid because I can't control the result but this time I was super satisfied with the background. Before the ink was completely dry, I added some gold foil, which you can see in the photo below.

I then stamped the sweetest bee girl from the stamp set and many little bees on a piece of Neenah Classic Crest paper, I colored everything with copics (see below the post for the combos) and I die cut all the pieces using coordinating dies.

I moved to my sentiment, which I decided to customize using some previous released stamps and dies. I white heat embossed the BEE word, as well as the scripry sentiment and I assanged it on my panel.

To complete the card, I matted the scene using a 6"x4" Black and White Stripes patterned paper.

And that's all for today!

Are you ready for the new MFT January Release? There are 4 days left until you can shop it. It will go live on January 11th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

For today's project I wanted to try a different technique, using the newest "You are so Loved" stamp set.

I really really love hand lettered sentiment like this and I was totally inspired by Maria Peters, an amazing card designer who often works with colored paper.

I took five pieces of 3"x4.25" MFT colored cardstock (Amarena Cherry, Ripe Raspberry, Cotton Candy, Chantilly Cream and Lemon Drop). I positioned the stamp in the stamping tool (which is really important to get the perfect result) and I stamped the hand lettered image using Eiffel Tower Premium Dye Ink to create the halo. I let everything dry and then I moved the main stamp to the left, in order to let the dark halo show. I carefully white heat embossed the sentiment on all the 5 colors and then I cut all the pieces using a guillotine.

I was now ready to re-assemble the 3"x4.25" panel using all the different pieces: you can create 5 different striped panels, but here I used only two to create the card and the matching tag.

To complete the card, I stamped the "Never Ending Background" stamp using Kraft Premium Dye Ink and I white heat embossed one of the "Itty Bitty Love" sentiments.

To create the tag, I die cut the panel using the "Do-It-All Gift Tag Die-namics" and I simply added a ribbon and a black and white twine.

And that's all for today!
