Hi crafty friends! Today we'll reveal the MFT January Card Kit, which is called CELEBRATE EVERYTHING.

Birthday cards are the most used, because we always need a great stash ready to send to crafty friends! Also, it's my birthday month and I had a blast creating with the kit!

The CELEBRATE EVERYTHING Card Kit includes:

  • Celebrate Everything Stamp Set

  • Balloon Builder Die-namics

  • Celebrate with Cake Die-namics

  • Time to Celebrate Paper Pad

  • Card Stock - Smooth White (2), Moroccan Spice (1), Candied Yam (1), Lemon Drop (1), Prickly Pear (1), Caribbean Sea (1), Tropical Teal (1), Kraft (1), Milk Chocolate (1)

The following product will be available as a separate purchase:

  • Perfect Present Die-namics

There is also a free with $60 releasing with this kit which is Itty Bitty Celebrations Stamp Set.

The kit will be available tomorrow January, 24th at 10am EST.

And now, let's move into my first project!

I absolutely love the patterned paper included in the kit!

I firslty had the idea to create a mini slimline with rainbow "floating candles", and while I was die-cutting all of them from the colored cardstock included in the kit I realized that the small Birdie Brown mouse from "Mice day to celebrate" would have perfectly fit into my design.

I stamped him into a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using an alcohol friendly ink and I colored him with copics (you can find the colors listed below).

I then adhered all the candles to the dotted patterned paper (it measures 3"x6"), I glued down all the flames which I die cut from some Chantilly Cream cardstock (I added some glow with an YR68 copic). I glued one flame on the mouse's candle too, as he had just finished to light up all those of the background.

I white heat embossed the "Happy Birthday" sentiment which comes from Celebrate Everything stamp on a piece of Black Licorice cardstock and I also added a small sentiment strip below using one of the Itty Bitty Celebrations scripts.

I now realized I would have wanted to matt my scene using another piece of patterned paper, so I glued my panel on a slightly larger black one and then on the 3,75"x6" stripey paper.

I really love the final result! As a finishing touch, I also added some glaze onto the flames.

And that's all for today!

Yay! The January MFT&Friends Release is now live!

The newest release is full of love-themed products, it is really great and includes so many stamps, dies, and some paper pads too!

Today's project features the newest Honey Bees which have become....rainbow bees!

I really don't know why, but when I saw those bees I instantly thought of coloring them with rainbows! And, looking through my stash, I found the previous released Rainbow Love 6x6 Paper Plaid which was the perfect match. I used that patterned paper to choose my Copic colors: that's a good option when you want to create something that really matches.

I stamped all the bees on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock using an alcohol friendly ink and I colored them with copics. I then die-cut everything with coordinating dies.

I moved to the sentiment, which is a mix of stamped words and die cut letters. And since all the letters I have were too big or too small for my design, I took the Thank you for Being a Friend die and I used B and E to create the word BEE. That dimension was perfect!

I then die cut the second largest A2 Rectangle Frame die from white cardstock and I layered a piece of vellum behind to soften the rainbow background.

I really really love the final result, it really makes me happy!

And that's all for today!

Have you already prepared your shopping list for the MFT January Release? It's the final countdown day and the release will go live tomorrow, at 10am EST.

Today I have another LOVE themed card to show you, featuring some of the sweet critters from I'm so in Love with you, still stamp set.

Look at those bunnies! Aren't they the sweetest ever?

I had the idea to create a small scene in the upper half and I used the previous released Grande Greenery Solid and Outline to frame the scene. I layered a vellum solid die-cut under a white cardstock outline.

I used some masking paper to mask the bottom part and I ink blended with Distress Oxides in Crushed Olive and Warm Lipstick. I also splattered some of this ink in the sky, to create some texture. When everything was dry, I die cut the panel using the second largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1.

I stamped the two main protagonist using Memento Black Ink and I colored them with copics (you can find the color combos below). I also die cut them using coordinating dies. Before adding them to my scene, I stamped some grass using MFT Prickly Pear ink.

I then moved to the bottom part of the card, where I planned to use the newest Love Ya die-namics. I die cut it from some Lime Glitter cardstock I had in my stash and I white heat embossed on of the phrases of the stamp set on a Cotton Candy strip of cardstock.

To complete the card, I matted it using one of the newest patterned sheets from Sweet Plaid 6x6 Paper Plaid.

And that's all for today!
