Have you already prepared your shopping list for the MFT February Release? It's the final countdown day and the release will go live tomorrow, at 10am EST.

Today I have a simple square card to show you, featuring the newest Playtime Pals critters.

Aren't those bears the cutest?

When I saw the skating bear I thought it would have perfectly fit into the City Block Background. I also wanted to create a square card, so I die cut the white square panel from the largest of the Wonky Stitched Square dienamics and I layered a smaller circle inside, to create a hole.

On a different 4,25"x4,25" piece of white cardstock I ink blended some Distress Oxides: Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers. I then created a "hole" mask (a little bit larger than the one in the white panel) using Judikins Masking Paper and I masked the distressed panel. I stamped the City Block Background using some grey ink and I let it dry.

I moved to the protagonist of the scene and I stamped and colored it using the combos listed below. I also die cut it with coordinating dies.

Now I had to think about the sentiment, which I thought to put in the upper part of the card. But I now realized that I could have white heat embossed on some Black Licorice cardstock and used it as the "street" where my bear is racing.

I assembled everything using foam tape and I added some clear sparkling sequins to complete the card.

And that's all for today!

Are you ready for the MFT February Release? There are only 2 days until the release, which will be live on Tuesday 8th, at 10am EST.

Today the DT is highlighting some circus-themed stuff and this is the card I created.

How fun is this You're the Main Event stamp set?

When I saw this card, I knew I wanted to create something really simple. I was also inspired by one of Audrey Tokach's recent cards for the design.

I firstly took a 4"x5,5" piece of Smooth White cardstock and I stamped the circus, masking it with a Post-it tape (I didn't mask all the smallest flag, I added some white after coloring the background). I masked the panel to ink blend only the upper part. Since I wanted dark vibrant colors, I used Regular Distress Inks, cause the result is quite better. I needed only two colors: Black Soot and Blueprint Sketch. I then splattered some water and I let the panel dry.

I stamped the two main protagonists on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and I colored them using the combos listed below. I also die cut them with coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment just below my little scene and I decided to matt my panel with an A2 Smooth White cardstock. I also layered a piece of MSTN Rainbow Love Paper Pad on the left to add some color.

And that's all for today!

Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT February Release Day? It will be live on February 8th, at 10am EST.

So let's move into today's project!

Alphabet stamps and dies are always so versatile, you can create so many things!

I must say as soon as I saw the newest MSTN Cue the Confetti background, it reminded me of some donut sugar sprinkles, so I had the idea of making a "real" giant donut! I used the A2 Circle Stax dienamics to create the circular shape with the hole and I also hand cut the sugar glaze with the same central hole too.

I colored both using my copic markers (see the combos below) and I added some sprinkles to the glaze. I also added the Glossy Accent to all the glaze.

While the Glossy was drying (it took a bit cause there was a lot!) I prepared the background. I pearl heat embossed the MSTN Cue the Confetti on some Chantilly Cream cardstock and I layered two pieces of Kraft and White cardstock behind.

I stamped the DONUT letters from Hip Hip Yay Alphabet, I colored them and I die cut using coordinating dies. I also completed the sentiment using the phrases from You're the Sprinkles to my Frosting stamp set.

At the end I added everything to my panel.
