Are you ready for the MFT September Release? There are only 2 days until the release, which will be live on Tuesday 13rd, at 10am EDT.

Today I have another Christmas project to show you, featuring the newest Chrisrmas Blessings stamp set designed by Rachelle Anne Miller.

As soon as I saw the newest Elegant Stitched STAX Die-namics, I knew I wanted to use them as a "window" for the Holy Family scene.

I firstly stamped the big star on a piece of white cardstock, I masked it and I ink blended the background using Distress Oxides in Dried Marygold, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I splattered some Copic Opaque White and I let the panel aside to dry.

In the meanwhile, I stamped all the protagonists of my scene with Memento Tuxedo Black, except for the sheep, which I stamped using London Fog, because I wanted their "curly wool" to be grey. I then used a black fineliner to go over the face and the legs. I colored the images using the Copics listed below and I die cut everything with coordinating dies.

I took another piece of Smooth White Cardstock and I stamped the newest Touch of Texture background: as the noun says, it is really great if you want to add a bit of texture without being distracted from the main subject. I stamped it with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. I also cut a window in the left part using the second largest Elegant Stitched STAX Die-namics and I started assembling the scene. I used a combination of liquid glue and foam tape to create dimensions.

To complete my card, I added a small sentiment strip on the right and I matted the whole panel using an A2 Gold Glitter Cardstock.

And here's a finished look of my card!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT September Release Day? It will go live on September13rd at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you all the cards I created with the release products.

And here's today card, featuring the newest Hoodie Weather stamp designed by Yan Au.

I absolutely fell in love with those critters as soon as I received the release, they are too cute.

I created a fall themed birthday party, which is all about nuts! I firstly stamped all the images on some Neenah Solar White paper and I colored them using the copics listed below. I then die cut everything with coordinating dies. The two banners at the top come from a previous released stamp, which is called BB Mice Day to Celebrate.

On a different A2 piece of Smooth White paper I ink blended Distress Oxides: Speckled Egg at the top and some Scattered Straw from the bottom, being careful I kept some white between the two. I also ink blended a smaller piece using Shabby Shutters, which I die cut with the Grassy Terrain Die-namics.

I die cut the three Winter Trees Die-namics from some really light grey cardstock and I added some shading using a small round blending brush and the Regular Distress in Pumice Stone.

I layered everything on my panel, creating my "nuts party": I really really loved how it turned out!

I also decided to trim down the scene to 3,75"x5", in order to matt it with an A2 white panel behind and have a quarted of an inch white border. I also white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of Butterscotch paper, which I put at the centre of my card. And here's a finished look!

Hi friends! Are you ready for the new MFT September Release? There are 4 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on September 13rd at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today I am highlighting the newest Christmas SweetHeart stamp set, which belongs to the Pure Innocence line.

I kept the design really simple, I wanted the girl to pop and be the "protagonist" of my scene. I firslty started ink blending the background, using Distress Oxides on a piece of Smooth White Cardstock. I used blending brushes, which are my favorite to blend oxides: I ink blended Black Soot, Prize Ribbon and Blueprint Sketch. I then splattered some water and some Copic Opaque White to get all the snow in the background and I let aside to dry.

I stamped the little girl on a piece of Neenah Solar White and I colored her using copics (you can find the full list below). I cut her with coordinating dies and I moved into the sentiment.

I wanted to create the "Merry Christmas" word and I mixed two big sentiments die to get it: Sending Christmas Joy Die-namics and Very Merry and Bright Die-namics. I cut each letter twice and I stacked them together to have some depth. I then carefully glued them down. I also white heat embossed the "HoHoHo" script on a piece of Wild Cherry Cardstock and I arranged it under the big die-cut sentiment.

As a finishing touch, I trim down the panel to 3,75"x5,5" and I layered it on a piece of A2 Silver Cardstock.

And here's a finished look!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
