But now, let's dive into today's project!

I really loved this wreath die, it's perfect for the season! I also need to thank a friend of mine, Laura, which inspired me to create a wreath design on a door front!

I loved the idea so much that I couldn't resist to create a similar one on this card. I firstly started die cutting a lot of sunflower pieces from the Sunflower Wreath Die-namics a: I created more than I used in my card but I wanted to have a bunch ready for future too. I've used Butterscotch and Lemon Drop Cardstock for the yellow parts, while the brown is made from Milk Chocolate. I also die cut two circular wreath and some greenery from Jalapeno and Prickly Pear Cardstock.

I then moved into my bakcground, which is really simple to make: I die cut the panel using the largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX die and I drew 4 rectangles, as they were the front door decorations. I've used my T-ruler t create all the lines, you can do whatever decoration you want but I kept mine really simple. I also added a small touch of Copic in the recessed parts, which are shaded (I've used T3 and T1).

I then assembled everything, adding a lot of layers of flowers and greenery. I also cut the Blessed Die-namics to use as my sentiment, and I completed it with a white heat embossed phrase from Bitty Thanks and Gratitude.

To complete the card, I matted my "front door" with a light grey panel and I also added some yellow gems, that really give a cool touch.

And that's all for today!

The SENDING SUNFLOWERS Card Kit includes the following products:

  • Thoughtful Greetings Stamp Set

  • Farmhouse Foundations Die-namics

  • Falling for Houndstooth Paper Pad

  • Card Stock – Smooth White (2), Fire Coral (1), Lemon Drop (1), Pineapple -limited edition (1), Lazy Day (1), Cement Gray (1), Sour Apple (1), Jalapeno Popper (1), Kraft (1), Milk Chocolate (1)

The Free with $60 releasing with this kit is the Blessed Die-namics.

The kit will be available tomorrow, August, 30th at 10am EST.

But now, let's dive into my first project!

This is a really simple project and it is an almost die cut card! If you don't love coloring but you love creating card, this kit is totally for you!

I firstly started die cutting a lot of sunflower pieces from the Sunflower Wreath Die-namics and the Farmhouse Foundations Die-namics: I created more than I used in my card but I wanted to have a bunch ready for future too. I've used Butterscotch and Lemon Drop Cardstock for the yellow parts, while the brown is made from Milk Chocolate. I also die cut some greenery from Jalapeno and Prickly Pear Cardstock too. The watering can was cut from some light grey cardstock, which I shaded with a little bit of Copic E43 and E41.

I glued all the pieces of the sunflowers down and I started creating my design. I did a little bit of layering: I started with an A2 White cardstock, I added a smaller rectangle piece (cut from Stitched Rectangle A2 Set1) of the newest Falling for Houndstooth Paper Pad and at the centre another white panel (cut from Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-namics). I stamped the sentiment from Thoughtful Greetings Stamp in this white panel and I started layering all the sunflowers and greenery. When I loved the composition, I glued everything down.

Ad a finishing touch, I added some Wink of Stella on the brown centre of the flowers.

And that's all for today!

Yay! The August MFT Release is now live and it is full of amazing products!

Today I have another school themed card to show you, featuring the YUZU School is Cool stamp set.

I really loved that Tall Hello Die-namics and I wanted to feature it in my design. I also wanted to incorporate the newest patterned paper, cut with the Notebook Edge Die-namics.

So I thought I could have create a hello card, with many school things around it!

I stamped the two children and all the accessories: books, pencils, rulers, rucksack....and I colored it with copics (listed below). I previously decided I would have used one of the patterned sheet included in the Party Time Paper Pad, and this helped me to choose some coordinating colors for all the images. When everything was done, I cut them with coordinating dies and I let them aside while working on the rest.

I took one sheet from the newest Notebook Paper Pad and I cut the edge with the Notebook Edge Die-namics. I then stamped the giant hello from the How To Say Hello stamp using black ink, it perfectly match with the Tall Hello Die-namics and it was perfect to use as a shadow for my cut letters. I also added the small sentiment below.

I then die cut all the letters with coordinating colored card stock: Tropical Teal, Prickly Pear, Lemon Drop, Wild Cherry and Fire Coral. I glued them down and I also attached all the smaller stamped images around the focus of my card. To complete it, I layered behind my rotated notebook sheet a the patterned paper I had chosen at the beginning of the card. And here it is the final result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
