Are you ready for a new MFT Release Countdown?

It's that time of the month again and today it is the first day of previews. The release will be live on September 13rd at 10am EDT.

But now, let's dive into my first project that features the newest Christmas Tree Farm designed by Stacey Yacula!

Aren't those critters super adorable? I absolutely love Stacey's designs, and I couldn't pass on this set.

I firstly stamped all the images on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and I colored them all using copics (you can find the full list below the post). This is my go-to paper if I have to copic color, because the result is really bright. I then die cut everything using coordinating dies.

I then moved into the background, that I kept really simple: on a piece of Smooth White paper I ink blended some Distress Oxide in Speckled Egg and I splattered some Copic Opaque White to get all the snow texture. I then die cut the panel using the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 2.

With the same rectangle die I cut a piece of white cardstock, which I used to create the snow ground, using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics. I assembled everything and I attached all the images to create my scene.

I then white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of Red Hot Cardstock and I matted the scene using a red and white patterned paper from the Falling for Houndstooth Paper Pad.

As a finishing touch, I added some Star Dust Stickles at the end of the branches, who doesn't love a bit of sparkle?

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi crafty friends, welcome back to my blog!

Today I have a personal card to show you, featuring a mix of new and old MFT Stamps products. I just loved the recent released Sending Sunflowers Card Kit and I wanted to play more with it. So, let's dive into today's project!

For this scene, I brought back the cutest BB Harvest Mouse Stamp set, designed by Birdie Brown. I'm a huge fan of her designs and I thought it was the perfect occasion to pair them with some newest products. The idea came in my mind since both mice were doing something similar: one had a berry branch in his hands, the other was carrying a basket over his head. So, I decided to replace them with the newest Sending Sunflowers products.

I stamped the mice and I colored them using copics (you can find the list below the post), I die cut them with coordinating dies.

I then moved into all the flowers. I die cut a bunch of sunflowers from the Sunflower Wreath Die-namics using Lemon Drop and Butterscotch cardstock, I've also used Milk Chocolate for the round centre. I die cut some greenery from Jalapeno and Prickly Pear cardstock too. The basket was cut from Kraft Cardstock, I added a bit of Distress Vintage Timber to create some shades.

I then carefully assembled everything, I suggest you a strong liquid glue because there are many pieces. I added the whole basket and the assembled sunflower to my previous colored images.

The rest of the card is really simple: I used Wonderful Woods Stamp for the greenery and the recent released Thoughtful Greetings Stamp for the sentiment.

I then matted the whole panel (which measures 3,75"x5,5") with one of the Falling for Houndstooth patterned paper. And here's a complete look of the card!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it.

Hi friends and welcome back to another weekly Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

Below you’ll find Sketch #609. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project to the MFT blog for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.

And here's my inspiration, featuring the Tall Hello Die-namics and the Bookworm Bear Stamp.

When I looked into the sketch, I had the idea to use the Tall Hello Die-namics with a piece of patterned paper behind. So I looked into my 6x6 Paper Pads and I found the MSTN Pretty in Plaid that was just perfect for my design. It also had 5 colors, that perfectly matched the 5 letters of my word. So, I die cut each letter with a different color: Ripe Raspberry, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight and Summer Splash. I also die cut the same Hello word in black to create a sort of shadow.

I then needed to find something to fill the two "circular" spots of the sketch and I thought that the reading bear included in the Bookworm Bear was just perfect for my design. I stamped it with Memento Ink and I colored with the few Copics listed below the post. I die cut one of the smallest speech bubbles included in the MSTN Say Anything Die-namics and I stamped the "missing you" sentiment included in the Itty Bitty Love. And that's all, here's the finished card!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
