Are you ready for the MFT October Release? There are only 2 days until the release, which will be live on Tuesday 11th, at 10am EDT.

Today I have another Christmas project to show you, featuring the newest YUZU Holly Jolly Santa stamp designed by Yan Au.

I know I always say the same things, but this happens every time I have to start planning a card. I try to figure out how to use the products and this time I have to say I immediatly think to create a HOHOHO card, using the two santas as the letters O. So I stamped them using Memento black ink and I colored with the Copics listed below. I also stamped one of the little reindeers, they were too cute not to feature in my card. I then die cut everything with coordinating dies and I moved into the background.

It is really a simple one, I ink blended some blue Oxide Inks: Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and just a bit of Black Soot. I splattered some water and some Copic Opaque White to create the snow effect. I let it dry for a few minutes and I cut to 3,75"x5".

I die cut 6times the letter H, which comes from the MSTN Spell Anything Alphabet Die-namics, I glued three together to get some width. I also white heat embossed the sentiment at the left on a piece of Wild Cherry Cardstock.

I assembled the design on my blue distressed panel and I figured out where to put the action wobble, so I create a hole in the exact spot using a cutter. I glued everything down using foam tape and I matted the panel using an A2 piece of Smooth White cardstock. And here's the finished result!

Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT October Release Day? It will go live on October 11th at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you all the cards I created with the release products.

And here's today interactive card, featuring the newest Tree-mendous Friends stamp set.

When I saw this reindeer and the trees I thought it could have be fun to create a spinning card. The mechanism is really really simple and fun to make: I've used some of the A2 Circle Die-namics to create the centre of the card and the "donut" of the mechanism.

I stamped all the images (4 reindeers and 4 trees) and I colored them using the copic listed below. I then die cut everything using coordinating dies.

I glued them to my "donut" piece and I let it dry.

In the meanwhile, I prepared the background, using some of the smaller images included in the set. I stamped the snowflakes with green ink, and the candy canes with a red one. I also filled some stripes with Copic in R35.

I finally assembled everything on a square card: the customized patterned paper measures 5,125"x5,125", I also matted it with a 5,5"x5,5" white cardstock.

And here's a finished result!

Hi friends! Are you ready for the new MFT October Release? There are 4 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on October 11th at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today I am highlighting the newest Snow Buddy die and the MSTN Cool Christmas Tree.

As soon as I saw the die, I thought to use the snowman as the letter O of the word JOY, inspired by the sentiment included in the newest MSTN Cool Christmas Greetings. The card is really simple and could be used to mass produce a bulk of cards for the upcoming Christmas, maybe changing the color of the background.

Well, I started from a 5"x3,75" piece of Summer Splash cardstock and I distressed the edges using Distress Oxide in Rustic Wilderness. I've discovered the green background last year and I love it for holiday cards! I then splattered some Copic Opaque White and some Gansai Tambi Starry watercolor. While the cardstock was drying, I die cut all the pieces from Neenah Solar White cardstockand I did some quick coloring and shading using copics (BG11-BG10 for the snowman, R59-R56 for the scarf, E99-E97 for the nose).

I assembled the snowman and I worked on the rest of the pieces: I die cut the letters J and Y with the Impact Alphabet Die-namics from some Wild Cherry cardstock and the two trees from MSTN Cool Christmas Trees using gold gitter cardstock.

I used one of the Mini Slimline Outside the box Snow Drifts as the ground.

I white heat embossed the sentiment on the background and I glued everything together. As a finishing touch, I matted the whole panel using a slightly larger piece of white cardstock and a 4,5"x 5,5" piece of patterned paper. And here's the finished result!
