But now, let's dive into my first project!

This is a really simple project, that could be mass produced changing the color combination too. I went for an unconventional warm and cozy palette, especially for the sky, but I am glad I did it because I love how it turned out.

I had the idea to use all the house fronts from to create a sort of neighbourhood, with different heights, different windows and different colors.

I looked into my paper stash and I found that combo: the green and red comes from MFT Paper (Prickly Pear and Maroccan Spice), while the other two are from Gina K (Peach Bellini and Honey Mustard). I then added some brick details with coordinated Copic Colors (YG95 - R22 - R56 - E97).

The window frames are cut from MFT Milk Chocolate, and I layered them on some MFT Eiffel Tower or Chantilly Cream Cardstock depending if I wanted the light to be turned on or off.

I carefully added all the details, I then moved into the background, which is made by Kraft Cardstock. I also ink blended the lower part with the same Kraft Premium Ink, this gave a little bit of shadows.

To complete the card, I white heat embossed the sentiment from Home for the Holidays stamp in the upper part and I added some snow detail with a white gel pen. The Kraft panel measures a little more than 5"x3,75", and I matted it with a white A2 cardstock. And here's the finished result!

And that's all for today!

Yay! The October MFT Release is now live and it is full of amazing Christmas themed products!

Today I have another Christmas card to show you, featuring the newest Happy Holly-days illustrated by Tiddly Inks.

This is a really special card because it is my first easel card. And I absolutely love the final result!

I firstly started stamping and coloring the little girl using the copics listed below. The funniest part was to make her skirt, since I wanted to look the fabric thay they usually use to make Christmas clothes. I added some stripes with brown, green and a 05 White Gelly Roll Pen. When everything was colored, I die cut the image with the coordinating die.

I then moved into my two background panels: I ink blended some regular Distress Inks in Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Prize Ribbon and Shaded Liliac, I then splattered some Copic Opaque White to get the snow effect and I die cut using the largest of the Inside & Out Stitched Arch STAX Die-namics. I wanted to recreate a sort of snow globe effect, so I also white heat embossed the sentiment on some Milk Chocolate cardstock.

I moved into my background panel, which is 4"x5,25". I took a piece of a really light grey cardstock and I used the newest First Snowfall Stencil. I firstly applied some white paste, then I let it dry for a few minutes, I turned upside down and I applied some Nuvo Transparent Glimmer. In this way I had much more snowflakes and some sparkling areas.

I attached the panel to a top fold A2 cardbase, I was careful to add the horizontal folding line. I glued everything down.

I then added a white heat embossed sentiment on some Wild Cherry Cardstock, I used foam tape in order to get dimension for the easel. And here's a finished result!

Have you already prepared your shopping list for the MFT October Release? It's the final countdown day and the release will go live tomorrow, at 10am EDT.

Today I have another Christmas card to show you, featuring the newest Cute and Cuddly Christmas designed by Rachelle Anne Miller.

I firstly stamped the design in the upper part of an A2 piece of a Neenah Solar White Cardstock, using Memento Black ink. I then drew a round line to define the "edge" of my coloring, since I was planning to have a white background under my image. I colored everything with the copics listed below and then I die cut the panel using the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics.

I die cut some of Peaceful Greenery Die-namics from some Cornflower cardstock and some gold sparky cardstock I had in my stash. I arranged my die cuts under the image, in order to create a "lower frame" and I also used the little bow from Christmas Garnish Die-namics for an extra detail.

For the sentiment, I was obviously inspired by the one included in the stamp set, but I wanted to customize it die-cutting the word KOALA from some Wild Cherry Cardstock. I stamped the La-la-la-la twice under the word and I matted the whole panel with an A2 piece of Smooth White Cardstock. As a finishing touch, I also added some glossy accents on Christmas decorations. And here's the finished result!
