Are you ready for an incredible release? And I mean ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!

I know many of you were sad to read that the Birdie Brown line has discontinued, but I think we all were so excited to hear that the whole Birdie Brown line will be re-released during this one and the following valut releases too.

The Vault has opened and those are the sets that are featured in the DT creations today:

  • You Make My Tail Wag Stamp Set

  • You Make My Tail Wag Die-namics

  • I Knead You Stamp Set

  • I Knead You Die-namics

  • Up in the Air Stamp Set

  • Up in the Air Die-namics

Aren't you excited? This is my inspiration, that features I knead you stamp set.

When I saw this hanging cat, I thought it would be fun to put him on a brench and then looked through my stash and found those adorable birds, from Sittin' Pretty stamp.

So, I firstly drew some brenches, masked the central one (because the cat is behind) and stamped the protagonist and all his little friends. I used a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring paper, as I planned to color with copics (see below for combos).

I then realized I wanted to frame my little scene, so I die cut a piece of Smooth White cardstock using the second largest A2 Rectangle Frame die.

For the background, I used an A2 piece of the same white cardstock and I stamped the Thick and Thin background, using Prickly Pear new ink.

To complete the card, I white heat embossed the bitty sentiment (those sentiment sets are a must have, you always find the perfect one you are looking for) and I assembled all the layers.

Hope you will like the result!

Hi crafty friends!

We are 6 months away from Christmas BUT we all know that when it is Christmas time we always struggle to create cards in time! So, Jenn Shurkus created this "Get Craking on Christmas" challenge, a great way to create Christmas cards all over the year and use all the amazing Christmas stuff we have collected (and maybe never used) over the years.

Every third Thursday of the month, a group of cardmakers will inspire you with their Christmas cards and you can find all the details in Jenn's blog.

And here it is my inspiration, using this new-to-me Trinity Stamps set!

I fell in love with this stamp when I saw a card from Sandy Allnock, so I could not resist to purchase it!

I firstly stamped the image on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and I colored everything with copic markers (see below for combos). I chose bright and bold colors, which is a bit unusual for me. When I finished to color, I fussy cut it.

I then moved to my background, which was inspired by another talented crafter: Samantha Mann. I am always in awe of her background, I love how she plays with bold colors, stencil and white cardstock. So I partially masked the bottom part and inkblended the sky using Distress Oxides in Salty Ocean and Broken China and I splattered some water to create some texture. As I wasn't happy with the result, I looked through my stencil stash and took out the Cozy Snowflakes by Echo Park, and I applied some white texture paste. I also added some paste on my snow stenciled hill.

When everything was dried, I used some foam tape to attach the main images and I stamped the sentiment (using two different colors) at the bottom.

To complete my card, I added a little strip of red on the left.

I really hope you will enjoy the project and be inspired to create some Christmas cards too!

As always, Jenn Shurkus will be hosting a LIVE on her YouTube page, Thursday June 17th at 8:00pm ET: I'm sure she will inspire many of you to get ready for Christmas!

Hi friends and welcome to another weekly Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

Below you’ll find Sketch 546. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project to the MFT blog for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.

And here it is my inspiration, that features the Bitty Bears stamp set.

For this card I was inspired by Maria Peters: she is an incredible crafter and I am really in love with her rainbow cards, she is the master with colored cardstock.

I firstly prepared the frontal panel, which measures 4,5"x4,5" and I used the second smallest circle from A2 Stitched Circle to create the 6 holes. I then took another piece of Smooth White Cardstock of the same dimensions and drew with a pencil line where the holes were, in order to know where to color. I used copics (see below for combos). On small piece of Neenah Solar White I stamped the six little bears and colored them really quickly, I then cut them out using coordinating dies.

I layered the "hole" piece with the colored one, and attached the bears using foam tape. I also added the white embossed sentiment on a piece of Black Licorice cardstock.

To finish the card, I added a larger piece of Smooth White cardstock, to create a small frame.

I really hope you will like it and be sure to check the MFT blog to see all the other DT's creations.
