But now, let's dive into my second project!

You may know I love to customize sentiments and this is what I did here. I was inspired by the Tweet Greetings sentiment "Home Tweet Home" and I had the idea to use the bird's house as the letter O.

I firstly worked with the Home Tweet Home dienamics: I die cut all the pieces from some white cardstock and I colored with copics (see the full list below). I glued all the pieces together and I move to the other letters. I die cut them using the Impact Alphabet: I did it twice, firstly from kraft wood textured paper and the second time with Milk Chocolate cardstock. I used the darker letters to create some halo behind.

I also white heat embossed the "tweet home" on the same Milk Chocolate cardstock.

I then started working on the rest of the card. I took a piece of 5"x5" Princess Pink cardstock and I used transparent powder to heat emboss the Never Ending Love background. In this way I got a slightly darker and shiny look. I also die cut four of the Grand Greenery Solid dienamics and I created the white wreath.

I layered everything on my panel and I realized that I needed to add something in the upper part to "balance" the desing. I die cut two birds from Birds of Feather dienamics and I colored using copics. And that was the perfect loving couple!

To complete the card, I layered a 5,25"x5,25" white panel behind.

And that's all for today!

But now, let's dive into my first project!

I love patterned paper, but I am always afraid to use it because I don't want it to finish. I know, I am a bit crazy LOL =)

But when I saw this stripey pattern, I fell in love with its bright and bold colors and I couldn't resist to create something with it! I thought that pairing some rainbow birds would have been fun.

So, I die cut a bunch of them from some white cardstock and I tried to understand how to display them. I came out with a wreath idea, and since there are 7 colors in the pattern, I used 21, which is a multiple. I slowly colored them all using the same combination of the paper and following the same order. Just a little blending with three colors each (listed below) to achieve some depth.

And then, it came the funniest part...to asselble them all! I used liquid glue, I die cut all the beaks from some Eiffel Tower cardstock and I glued those ones too. I must say there are also the eyes dies, both white and black circles, but I drew them using a white Posca Pen and a Black Sakura Glaze Pen (to create some shine).

When I layered them all on my patterned paper I realized this one was "too bold" and my little birds got lost: and here's a trick! I layered a smaller piece of Vellum to create a muted look which was perfect.

I also white heat embossed the sentiment on a small black strip at the centre and I matted the scene with a white cardstock. The final dimension of the card is 5,75"x5,75".

And that's all for today!

Yay! The February MFT Release is now live!

The newest release is full of new products, it is really great and includes so many stamps, dies, two stencils and a paper pad too!

Today's project features the newest Purr-fect Pals stamp set.

I really love cats and those are no exception!

I firstly started with the background, ink blending it using Distress Oxides in Cracked Pistachio, Mustard Seed and Kitsch Flamingo. I used blending brushes, I prefer them while ink blending with oxides. I then took a sparkling texture paste and I applied it using the newest Cue the Confetti stencil; I let it dry while working on the rest of the card.

I stamped all the cats and balloons and I started coloring them, using the combos listed below. I then die-cut everything with coordinating dies.

I moved to the sentiment, which I die cut twice from the Big Birthday Wishes die: I usually layer 2 or 3 die cut pieces in order to create some depth to the letters. I also white heat embossed the "Poppin'" word from one of the sentiment included in the stamp set.

I then attached everything to the panel using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape to achieve some dimension.

At the end, I also decided to matt the panel with a slightly larger white one.

And that's all for today!
