Are you ready for a new Vault Release? And since it is MFT's birthday, the release is totally about birthdays!

The Vault is going to open and those are the products that are featured in the DT creations today:

  • Balloon Party Stamp and Die-namics

  • Essential Birthday Messages

  • Essential Speech Bubbles

  • Bold Happy Birthday Die-namics

  • Balloon Alphabet and Numbers Die-namics

  • Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots Die-namics

  • Wish Die-namics

Aren't you excited? The Vault will open on July, 19th at 10am EDT.

Today I have a really simple card, but I absolutely love how it turned out.

I really loved the different sizes and types of writing of the Essential Birthday Messages Stamp and I thought it would be fun to use many of them to create a long sentiment on a card, as it was a chat with different speech bubbles.

When it comes to create a simple "graphical" card like this one, the hardest part is to choose the color combination. But hopefully, MFT has in their shop a lots of patterned paper! And here's my trick: I firstly decided what pattern to use in the background (a really simple texture with little stars from the Party Time Paper Pad) and then I took inspiration from the combo included in that pattern! So I went for Fire Coral, Amarena Cherry, Butterscotch, Prickly Pear, Summer Splash and Tropical Teal. I white heat embossed the sentiments on pieces of different colors and then I die cut them using the Essential Speech Bubbles Die-namics.

I die cut the patterned paper using the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 and I matted it with an A2 piece of Smooth White cardstock. I then attached all my speech bubbles with some foam tape. And here's the final result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hello crafty friends! It’s time for a brand new Color Challenge from MFT Stamps! The colors for this challenge are Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Vintage Timber and Fire Coral. You don’t have to use the exact colors shown but rather ones that these colors inspire you to use.

And here it is my inspiration, that features the Anywhere with You stamp, as well as the Big Birthday Wishes.

I had the idea to create a clean and simple card, featuring this adorable bunny from Anywhere with You stamp set. I stamped it on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and I colored using copics to coordinate the color combo of the challenge.

I then die cut many cardstock strips of different widths using Fire Coral, Summer Splash, Snow Cone and White Cardstock. I used them to create my own patterned paper attaching all the strips together and I die cut the final "custom" paper using the Big Birthday Wishes die. I only used the birthday wishes words. To enhance the words, I layered behind some Vintage Timber letters, as a shadow behind.

I glued all the pieces and the critter on a piece of White CardStock cut from the largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. I also used one of the patterned paper from Cool Collab Paper Pad (which perfectly matched the color palette). I really loved the final result!

Hi friends and welcome back to another weekly Wednesday Sketch Challenge! It's been a lot of time that I haven't played with any WSC, but I was finally able!

Below you’ll find Sketch #602. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project to the MFT blog for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.

And here it is my inspiration, that features the recent released RAM Turtley Awesome and the Happy Happy Birthday.

I had the idea to stamp the HAPPY from Happy Happy Birthday stamp using 5 different colors, so I looked into my Ink Cubes and I chose my color palette: Amarena Cherry, Orange Zest, Butterscotch, Sour Apple and Something Blue. I masked the letters and I partially stamped every letter with a different color on a piece of Smooth White Cardstock. I also added the "birthday" script using the Eiffel Tower ink.

I then moved into the image and I stamped the turtle on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, because it is my favorite for copic coloring. I colored all the balloons with coordinated colors, you can find the full list below the post. I die cut it with coordinating dies.

I white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of Butterscotch Card Stock and I started assembling the card.

I die cut the white panel with the sentiment using the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set2 and I added the image using foam tape. To complete the card, I matted it using an A2 white panel too. I really hope you will like the final result!
