And here it is my inspiration, featuring Super Friend stamp set.

I really love those critters, they are so super cute!

I firstly stamped my three critters and all the foliage on a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring Paper and I colored everything with copics (see below for color combos). It was so much fun to color all of these, I really enjoyed the process cause those images really make me happy. I then cut all of them using coordinating dies.

I then moved to my background: I took a piece of 3,75"x7,25" Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and I stamped the Wood Plank Background using the Vintage Timber Premium Dye Pad. This was the first time I used this background and I really love the result, cause it really looks like wood. As my piece of cardstock was bigger than the stamp, I repeated the stamping on the empty area, using a stamping platform.

I then decided to create two holes on the upper-left part and on the lower-left area, using the Stitched Circle Shaker. I attached the background on a piece of 4,25"x7,25" white cardstock using foam tape and then started to arrange all the previous colored images.

Just a small white strip for the sentiment, some glossy on the cat's eyeglasses and a few Crystal Drops and that's all!

I really hope you will like it and be sure to check the MFT blog to see all the other DT's creations.

And here it is my project, that features some of the Extra Kit products.

This is just a simple card, but I really love how it came out and I think I will make a bunch with different colors, to have some ready in my stash. I think I CASED (Copied And Selectively Edited) a card of mine from last month, I really loved that design.

I firstly white heat embossed the Paint Splatter Background on a piece of A2 Neenah Solar White Cardstock. I then ink blended it using one of the newest Distress Oxide Color: Crackling Campfire. I purchased it when it came out but I haven't had the chance to try it...it is amazing!! I really love how I could do this blending only with one color, I love the deep orange and the soft shade it has! And with a dry towel I removed the excess on the heat embossed parts. To finish my background, I die cut it using the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 1.

I then moved to my Floral Focus, using the In-Focus Florals dienamics: I die cut the leaves from heavyweight vellum and the floral die from some Neenah. I really suggest you to use a metal adapter plate to cut all those intricate dies, it was so helpful. I die cut twice and glued together, as I wanted some depth.

For my sentiment strip, I used one of the Friends Like You and I stamped it with Moroccan Spice ink, I love the definition of those inks for stamped sentiments and I die cut it using the Skinny Strips dienamics.

At the end, I attached everything on an A2 panel and I added some sparkling clear sequins to complete my card.

I really hope you will like the result!

Hugs from Italy,

Hi crafty friends! Are you ready for a new MFT Stamps Card Kit release? If you love floral design, I'm sure you won't pass on.

This month kit is called "Floral Focus" and it will be available on May, 18th at 10am EST.

The Floral Focus Card Kit includes the following products:

  • Friends Like You Stamp Set

  • Slimline Stitched Circle Trio Die-namics In-Focus Floral Frames Die-namics

  • Card Stock - Smooth White (2), Kraft (2), Orange Zest (1), Lemon Drop (1), Prickly Pear (1), Jalapeño Popper (1), Summer Splash (1), Caribbean Sea (1), Eiffel Tower (1)

There is a Free with $60 releasing with this kit that is called Itty Bitty Basics Stamp Set.

This month, there are also some other dies that perfectly match with the kit that are available separately:

  • In-Focus Florals Die-namics

  • Slimline Skinny Strips Die-namics

  • Itty Bitty Strips Die-namics

And now, let's move to my second project, that features some of the newest products.

This is a really simple shaker card. When I saw those In Focus Floral Frames die-namics, I knew I wanted to do a shaker element. I thought I could have used the Stitched Circle Trio on a regular A2 panel, to create something different.

So, I die cut one of the patterned paper from the Wallpaper Paper Pad with the largest A2 Stitched Rectangle and arranged the slimline trio on it, centering the two holes. I die cut it and then I added a piece of plastic sheet behind. In the front of my panel I attached the In Floral Focus Frames elements, which I die cut three times to give them dimension. On a piece of 4,25"x5,5" white cardstock, I did some ink blending using the Caribbean Sea ink where I have the "holes" of the front panel. You don't need to be perfect, I only wanted a blended look from my windows. I then adhered the white panel behind the frontal one.

At the end, I added one of the Itty Bitty Basic sentiment, which I white heat embossed on a piece of Tropical Teal Cardstock. I used the same color to matt the whole scene. Just a few sparkling sequins and that's all. Hope you will like it!
