Hi BRI friends, Sara here!

I am back with a new card, inspired by the September BRI Mood Board Challenge.

This color palette is incredible and it is perfect for fall cards. I love the warm tones, I love all of them together! And this is my inspiration!

I’ve recently bought some Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies and this was the perfect occasion to use them. I look in my stash and I found this Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set: I instantly thought to use the palette to color all the pumpkins. I stamped all of the images on a piece of Transotype Perfect Coloring paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The little fox belongs to the Winter Woodland stamp set while the greenery is from the Autumn Wreath one. I colored everything with copic and at the end I fussy cut all of them since I hadn’t coordinating dies.

I then started working on the background. On a piece of watercolor paper, I ink blended Distress Oxides in Warm Lipstick and Tattered Rose, using a blending brush to get a smoother look. I also splattered some bronze Gansai Tambi Starry Colors and some white acrylic paint to create some interest.

I used a rectangular scalloped die to create a kraft frame around my scene.

I then moved to my sentiment. I die cut the friend word (Pretty Pink Posh – Hello Friend Script) from Lawn Fawn Rainforest cardstock, I added some shine with Lawn Fawn Glitter Pen and covered it using Ranger Glossy Accent. I also white embossed the small sentiment below (MFT Itty Bitty Basics) on a piece of black cardstock.

I attached everything using liquid glue and foam tape to create some depth and I also added details using a White Gel Pen.

Thanks for stopping by, I love the final result. I really hope you will like too.

Hugs from Italy!

Hello crafty friends! It’s time for a brand new Color Challenge from MFT Stamps! The colors for this challenge are Black Licorice, Sno Cone, Fire Coral and Jalapeño Popper. You don’t have to use the exact colors shown but rather ones that these colors inspire you to use.

This palette is perfect for Christmas scenes!

And here it is my inspiration, that features BB Beast Friends stamps.

I firstly stamped the yeti and all the smaller gifts on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Since I planned to color the yeti with light colors, I used a light grey ink to stamp him and then used a black fineliner to define mouth, eyes and ears. I colored everything with copics, inspired by the color palette given from MFT (you can find copic combos below) and I die cut everything using coordinating dies.

On a different sheet of paper, I hand drew the background and I colored it with copics too. I used the "negative technique": the trees come out from a really dark background. I also added some white dots to create the snow effect.

I die cut a round hole on a 3,75"x5" piece of Smooth White Cardstock, in order to create a window for the background and I stamped the sentiment in the lower part.

I assembled the card and I matted twice, firstly using a Black Licorice cardstock and then with a 4,25"x5,5" Silver Sparkle cardstock.

As a finishing touch, I added some clear sparkling sequins on my background.

I really hope you will like it!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check the MFT blog to see al, the other DT members’ inspirations!

Hello friends and happy Thursday!

Today I have a really spooky card to show you, featuring some of the recent released Hello Bluebird stamps and dies. If you haven't seen the newest collection, you can find it here.

Even if we don't have a great Halloween tradition here in Italy, I really love creating those types of cards. Especially when I have to play with some adorable critters like this one.

The Good Fright stamp set is absolutely a must have! Look at this fox!

This is a Mini Slimline card, I love this format. I firstly stamped the main protagonist on a piece of Neenah Smooth Solar White cardstock and I colored it with copics. When I finished, I die cut him with coordinating die and I put him aside while working on the card.

I wanted to create a BOO word, using two pumpkins instead of the letters O. I die cut two of the pumpkins from the Jack die set: I love you can choose from so many faces! I colored those pumpkins using copics too, in order to create some shading. I layered a black pumpkin behind to fill the face holes and I also die cut the B letter from the Knightley LC Large Alpha die set using black cardstock.

I then moved to the background, which measures 6"x3.5". I ink blended the sky using Distress Inks in Dried Marygold, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire. I created a glow effect on the left, where I planned to put the two pumpkins. To create some interest, I splattered some Gansai Tambi Starry Colors in Pearl.

To complete the background, I die cut a grass hillside from some Grassy Knoll die and ink blended some Peeled Paint and Forest Moss. Since I felt there was an empty space on the left, I also die cut three Birch Trees from some grey cardstock.

I attached everything using liquid glue and foam tape, to create some dimension.

I stamped the scripty sentiment over the pumpkins and I realized there was something missing. I stamped three bats from the Boo Crew stamp set, die cut them and added to my scene.

To complete the card, I created a white frame with the two largest Nesting Mini Slimline and then matted the card with a 3,75"x6,25" black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will enjoy the card!

Hugs from Italy,
