Have you already prepared your shopping list for the MFT August Release? It's the final countdown day and the release will go live tomorrow, at 10am EDT.

Today I have an EXPLOSIVE inspiration for you, featuring the newest To the Rescue Stamp!

I love those super heroes illustrations! And I wanted to create a sort of comic scene where those two protagonists are going to rescue the situation.

I had the idea to create an exploding bomb, with a giant BOOM at the centre of the card. I die cut the black circle from the third smallest A2 Circle STAX Die-namics (it is 2" wide), I added the glossy shine with a Posca Marker. I then cut a small rectangle from the same black cardstock and I glued it behind to create the arrival for the fuse, which is a piece of brown twine. At the free end of the fuse, I added the sparks (both overlaying dies are from To the Rescue Die-namics).

I then took a piece of Chantilly Cream Card Stock and I used the Radiating Rays Stencil to add some pattern on the background: I used the Mustard Seed Distress Oxide. I also cut that panel with the largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

I stamped and colored the two super heroes (you can find the full list below the post) and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I then looked into my alphabet dies to search for a great BOOM option and I went for the MSTN Spell Anything Alphabet Die-namics, which I die cut twice from Red Hot and Smooth White Cardstock.

Everything was now ready for assembling: I added all the pieces to my Chantilly Cream textured panel and I completed the card stamping the smaller sentiment at the bottom of the bomb and all the smaller stars (I've used Something Blue Ink Cube). As a finishing touch, I added a white A2 panel on the back. And here it is!

Are you ready for the MFT August Release? There are only 2 days until the release, which will be live on Tuesday 16th, at 10am EDT.

Today I have a spooky project to show you, featuring the newest YUZU Best Witches Stamp as well as the Hey, Ghoul Die-namics.

I really loved all these images so I just couldn't wait to use them in my project.

I firstly thought of the background, because I didn't know if I wanted to create a scene or a simple gradient background using Distress Oxide inks. I went for this option and I tried a new to me combo, using some spooky colors: Villainous Potion, Dusty Concord and Twisted Citron. I used blending brushes to apply the ink on a piece of Smooth White Paper (which is really good for ink blending!) and I was careful not to overlap the green and the purple too much.

I then stamped all the images I needed and I colored them using Copics (you can find the full list below). I used some coordinating colors, but I needed to add some sort of yellowish orange for the pumpkin and the armchair. I then die cut everything with coordinating dies.

I die cut the Hey Ghoul sentiment twice from white cardstock, I glued them together to create some dimension and I started assembling all my scene. I cut a quarter of an inch from both longer edges of the ink blended panel and I added all the pieces I had created before. Here I realized I could have added another sentiment strip, which I white heat embossed on a piece of black cardstock. As a finishing touch I added some sparkling sequins and an A2 white piece behind my panel.

Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT August Release Day? It will go live on August 16th at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you all the cards I created with the release products.

And here's today card, featuring the newest School is Cool designed by Yan Au and the Notebook Paper Pad.

I had a blast when I saw this stamp set! I absolutely lobed it at first sight and since I am a teacher, I just cannot wait to create a back to school card. This will be a particular year for me: I will be back to school as a permanent teacher, I will be teaching for the first time technologies and technical drawing so I needed some "self" wishes.

I firstly stamped all the images on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, I colored them all with Copics (you can find a full list below the post) and I die cut them using coordinating dies. The number 2 comes from a previous released set, called Hip Hip Yay Numbers.

At the beginning, I thought I would have made a scene card, with some sort of road behind the bus. But then I had the idea to use the newest patterned paper from the Notebook Paper Pad, which I loved. I took the sheet with green stripes, I put all the images on it and I started to create the sentiment.

I stamped the word BACK using letters from the Connected Stamp, while I die cut all the SCHOOL letters from different colored cardstock (Something Blue, Summer Splash, Limelight, Lemondrop, Orange Zest and Poppin Pink). I glued all the letters to my panel.

To complete the card, I trimmed a bit the edges and I layered an A2 piece of Black Licorice cardstock behind. And that's all for today!
