Hi friends! The September Release is now live and it is full of amazing products!

So, let's jump into today's project!

I really made a simple project, but I love how it turned out!

It seems that pink pumpkins are real a hit this year, I found out a lot of inspiration through the web. And I wanted to make my version too, pairing them with blue, orange and sand colors. Since I am always a bit "afraid" of white, I decided to use a light cream cardstock: I started masking and repeatedly stamping the two different pumkins included in the newest JB Corn Maze Cuties stamp. On a different piece of paper I stamped the fox too, using MFT Kraft ink. You maybe don't know, but even if it isn't a Copic Friendly ink, it works really well and I ofen use it for noline (I usually stamp before on a piece of scrap paper and then use the "remaining" ink to stamp).

I colored everything with the copics listed below the post, I went for a really soft shading with two colors (if you know me, you know that I usually use 4-5 for each area). I did the same for the fox, which I fussy cut to get no edge around. I also used some coordinated colored pencils to draw the pumpkins "lines". I die cut the background using the second largest die from A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and I bronze heat embossed the sentiment included in the plate.

To complete the card, I decided to matt it twice, firstly with a lightly larger bronze panel and then with an A2 white one. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! Are you ready for a new release?

Today we are starting previewing it and I just can't wait to show you what I've been working on!

All the products of the release will be available tomorrow, September 19th, 10am EDT.

Here it is my first inspiration, featuring the some of the newest products.

I fell in love with this Crafty Tools Die-namics as soon as I got my hands on the new release products. And I was sure I would have tried to "recreate" my crafty desk on a card! And I can assure you it is as messy as you can see here! I don't know you, but when I finish making a card, my desk looks like after a bomb explosion.

I die cut all the pieces for each tool, using some colored cardstock (Ripe Raspberry, Orange Zest, Limelight, Summer Splash, Blue Beyond, Black Licorice, Sno Cone as well as some light grey one and a metallic silver one) and I carefully assembled all the pieces. I also added some soft shadings on the edges, with some slightly darker Copic colors.

I then arranged them on an A2 board to figure out where I would have put them; I cut an A2 piece from the Notebook Paper Paper Pad and I glued all the tools down. I stamped one of the sentiment included in the Crafty Caddy Greetings and I also decided to use the small splatters included in the Mini Messages & More to add some colored spots (I used inks coordinated to the cardstocks). To complete my card, I decided to matt it with a slightly larger Gravel Grey panel and then with a 6"x4,75" white cardstock. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi crafty friends! The MFT August Card Kit, which is called Christmas Poinsettia, is now available for purchase!

The card kit includes:

  • Christmas Wishes Stamp

  • Winter Poinsettias

  • Cardstock: Smooth White, Red Hot, Wild Cherry, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Jalapeno Popper, Kraft, Black Licorice

There are also some items available separately:

  • Pressed Poinsettias stamp

  • Christmas Wishes dies

But now, let's dive into my second project, which highlight the Winter Poinsettias dies.

I firstly started deciding the color palette of my card. I wanted red poinsettia with gold foliage, for a more "elegant" look. I die cut the flowers from some Red Hot cardstock, and I added some Amarena Cherry ink at the centre to darken it up. I then cut all the foliage from some mirror gold and sparkly gold cardstock I had in my stash and I moved into the background.

I initially thought I would have used a white background, but after placing all the pieces I didn't like it and I tried with Gravel Grey A2 one. I really loved the result! I also decided to foil the two largest

Hot Foil Octagon Frames Die-namics to create some gold frames for my sentiment, which comes from Christmas Wishes stamp and which is white heat embossed. I glued the two flowers and the leaves at the opposite corners, I used gold semi spheres for the poinsettias centres and some red crystal jewels as the berries. To complete the card, I matted the A2 grey panel with a 6"x4.75" white one. And here's the finished result.

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
