MFT Stamps | Christmas Poinsettia Card Kit is HERE!

Hi crafty friends! The MFT August Card Kit, which is called Christmas Poinsettia, is now available for purchase!

The card kit includes:

Christmas Wishes Stamp
Winter Poinsettias
Cardstock: Smooth White, Red Hot, Wild Cherry, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Jalapeno Popper, Kraft, Black Licorice

There are also some items available separately:

But now, let's dive into my second project, which highlight the Pressed Poinsettias stamp.

I decided to create a custom patterned paper using some of the stamps included in the Pressed Poinsettias stamp. I started from a 5,5"x8" Kraft cardstock, I stamped the solid flowers using the MFT Red Hot ink, the darker details with MFT Amarena Cherry, the branches with Kraft and the white berries with a white pigment ink. Since I wasn't happy with that white result, I used a Posca Pen to get a "whiter" look. When I was happy with everything, I die cut the same poinsettias with the Winter Poinsettias Die-namics from some masking paper and I masked them all. I splattered some acrilic white, some red ink and some Gold Gansai Tambi Starry Watercolor. I let everything aside to dry. Then I gold heat embossed the centre of all the flowers.

I die cut the patterned paper using the largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX dies, and with the left piece, I die cut the medium Surprise Stitched Tag Die-namics. I matted both with Red Hot cardstock and with a larger Smooth White piece (for the tag I used the largest die of the same pack).

To complete both the card and the coordinating tag, I stamped and white heat embossed two of the sentiments included in the Christmas Wishes stamp, which I die cut with coordinating dies too. I LOVE those sentiments coordinating dies!! And here's the finished card.

And today I have a second card to show you, featuring the newest Sunflower Gnomes.

I made a really simple CAS card, but I absolutely loved the final result!

I firstly stamped the image on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento black ink, because I planned to color everything with alcohol markers. I colored it with the Copics listed below the post, I went for a yellow-green-brown combo because it made me think of fall. When I was happy with the result, I die cut the image with coordinating dies and I moved to the background.

I initially thought I would have created a green inked background on the upper left side of an A2 panel, but I tried and I didn't like the result. I took another A2 white panel and I splattered Gansai Tambi Starry Watercolors on the back, mixing two or three shades of gold. I let it aside to dry and I loved the result much more than my first try! I trimmed the splattered panel to 3,75"x5" and I heat embossed the sentiment with bronze powder. I attached the image on the upper left corner, I matted the panel with a slightly larger gold sparkly cardstock and later with an A2 white panel too.

To complete the card, I also glued down some brown-gold gemstones, for an extra touch of sparkle.

And here's the finished result!

And today's card features the newest Fall for You stamp set.

I absolutely had a blast creating this card, I just loved the Fall for You stamp as soon as I got the products in my hand. You may know I love coloring and I love creating scenes, so this was one of my favorite set of the release.

I had the idea to create a card starting from a light vanilla cardstock, in order to give a more "fall" look at the scene. I took a vanilla cardstock and I started stamping the background image with Memento Desert Sand ink, to get a no-line look. On a different piece of vanilla paper, I also stamped the two critters and the two piles of leaves.

I colored everything with the copics listed below the post and I die cut the images with coordinating dies.

For the grass of the background, I did some ink blending with Prickly Pear and Kraft ink: to perfectly ink blend, I had to mask the bushes with Judikins masking paper and the sky too.

I then die cut the background panel using the second largest rectangle frame from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and I white heat embossed the sentiment in the bottom centre.

I attached the "separate" elements, using a mix of foam tape and glue, in order to create depth.

To complete the card, I matted the scene with an A2 white cardstock. And here's the finished result!
