Hi friends! Have you already shopped the September Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase! And I have a masculine card to show you.

I always struggle with masculine cards but the products showcased today are absolutely the best for men! The two sets called "In the Toolbox" are perfect for any occasion...and I created a birthday card in advance for my dad!

I die cut all the pieces from colored cardstock, I also used silver matte cardstock to cut the wrenches. Since I wanted to get them darker, I used the copic C8 and I didn't expect to get the result I got, but look at the detail: the color created a rusty look, and it was perfect!! I also added a bit of W7 and they "blended" perfectly to create that metal look.

I assembled everything with liquid glue, I also trimmed down three strips of brown cardstock and I white heat embossed one of the sentiments included in the Celebrate Everything stamp set. For the background, I used a light warm gret cardstock, I used the newest Tiny Wonky Dots Stencil with a grey ink and the result reminds me of the tool panel my father has. To complete the card, I stamped one of the smaller sentiments included in the Tool Talk and I added just a few nails here and there. I also matted the 3,75"x5" grey panel with an A2 piece of white cardstock. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! Have you already shopped the September Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase! And today, I have sweet card to show you.

I realized that this design could be perfect for a welcome baby card too, changing the sentiment and maybe turning the blue hexagon into pink.

I firstly started creating the background: I wanted to pair the newest Sweet Honey Bear stamp with the previuos released Hot Foil Double Hexagon Frames Die-namics. I chose a light cream cardstock and I used the hot foil system to create the frame with a gold foil sheet, then I masked the edges and I ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide from down to top. I also decided to repeatedly stamp many bees around using Kraft ink.

I stamped the bear on some light cream cardstock too and I colored with the copics listed below the post. I die cut it with coordinating dies.

I also die cut the word HONEY from some sparkly gold cardstock, under which I white heat embossed one of the sentiment included in the stamp set.

I trimmed down the bakcground to 3,75"x5" and I decided to matt it twice, firstly with a lightly larger mirror gold cardstock then with a white A2 panel.

As a finishing touch, I added some Ranger Glossy on the honey and some champagne gems to the design. And here's the finished result!

Hi friends! Have you already shopped the September Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase!

And now, let's dive into today's project, that features one of the two stamps designed by Jenoblade!

I had a really simple design in mind, creating my own custom patterned paper.

I randomly stamped a lot of American Football balls on a light grey cardstock, using brown ink (I wanted a sort of no-line look, and since the oval ball is orange, brown was perfect).

I then carefully colored all of them using the Copics listed below the post; I also used a Posca pen and a White Gelly Roll pen to create the white details on each ball. When the background was ready, I die cut it using the second largest die of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.

I stamped two of the players included in the set on some Neenah Solar White cardstock, using Memento Black ink and I colored them up with the Copics listed below the post. I then used scissors to fussy cut them without the white border around.

I white heat embossed the sentiment on some green cardstock and I cut a strip.

I initially wanted to create a vertical design, but when I tried to assemble everything, I didn't like the result. So I turned the A2 panel and I create a horizontal card.

And here's the finished result!
