Hi friends! Have you already shopped the November Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase! And today, I have a sweet card to show you.

I wanted to feature the newest "Milk and Cookie" dienamics since my baking competences are really really low. I die cut a lot of round pieces from Kraft cardstock, I did just a little ink blending at the edges and I also added some small dots here and there with copic E35. I then took three different shades of pink (light, medium and a vivid one) and a vanilla cardstock to die cut all the decorations. I also used some heart clay confetti to create some shaped sugars.

When I assembled them, I decided I would have added also a small critter from the previous released Kitchen Cuties and I colored it with the copics listed below the post.

For the background, I stamped the In the Loop Background with some light pink ink, I arranged all the pieces I had and I moved into the sentiment, which comes from the Cookie Crumbs stamp. I stamped it with two different colors, I cut the stripe and I added it to the panel too.

I matted the completed panel (which measures 3,75x5") with a sparkly pink glitter cardstock and then with an A2 white panel too.

As a finishing touch, I added some hot pink heart confetti (I used the white ones and I colored with Copics) here and there, then I added some Nuvo glitter drops over the decorations. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! Have you already shopped the November Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase!

And now, let's dive into today's project, that features one of the two stamps set designed by Jenoblade and called Snow Happy! But before that I have an important thing to share. This month, 10% of retail sales of the Snow Happy stamp set & Die-namics will be donated to Toddlers of Lake County.

Toddlers of Lake County is focused on creating, organizing, and promoting activities and events that are free or affordable for all families in and around Lake County. They are committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for all toddlers, children, parents, grandparents, and caregivers. Their goal is to bring families together through education and imagination and to make sure everyone is a part of the memories in the making.

So here's my project!

I initially started thinking of a clean and simple design, so I stamped the three snowman in a row. Since I wanted the central one to have the black hat, I did just a bit of masking and I added it from the melting snowman included in the set. The hardest part was to choose the color palette, and I went for an unconventional and vintage one! You can find my color combos below the post, I colored everything with Copics. I also added some shades below the snowmen.

I then stamped the sentiment below them using two different inks: I wanted a "not too heavy" look on this one, so I opted for a brown and a black combo.

I now realized I could have stamped some snowflakes (which comes from the recent released YUZU North Pole Pals) with some light brown ink, in order to match the vintage look of my card. I absolutely love that touch!

To complete the card, I cut the scene out using the second biggest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics, I matted it twice (firstly with a slightly larger green sparkly cardstock, then with an A2 white panel) and then I added some glossy on the noses, some Nuvo Drops on the heart and some gems at the centre of the snowflakes. And here's the finished result!

Hi friends! The November Release is now live and it is full of amazing Winter themed products!

So, let's jump into today's project!

I just loved all those little penguins, they are soo adorable! I decided to pair those up with the previous released Tall Hello die-namics, which was perfect since they seem to say hello to everyone.

I firstly stamped all the critters I wanted to feature in my scene on some Neenah Solar White Cardstock; I used a grey ink for the bear, then I went over the nose and the eyes lines with a black fineliner. I love to do so when I have white things to color, since the light is not that heavy. I then colored everything with the Copics listed below the post and I die cut them with coordinating dies.

I die cut the Tall Hello letters from some dark grey cardstock, I did it twice and glued them together to create some depth. I also white heat embossed one of the sentiment included in the stamp set on some peachy rose cardstock.

For the background, I used the newest Heavy Snowfall Stencil with some sno cone ink, I assembled my scene over it and I matted the panel with a slighlty larger silver sparkle cardstock and then with an A2 Smooth White panel. And here's the finished result!
