Hi friends! Have you already shopped the December Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some "popping" new products, which are already available for purchase.

I think this card wins the least copic colors used ever! As soon as I saw the products, I knew I would have done a Coca Cola bottle with the Soda Pop Die-namics. So, I took inspiration from some graphics I found on Internet and I colored it with only 2 different colors, black 100 and red R27, because I wanted to achieve a more "graphical" card. I used a white gel pen to create the Coca Cola script and to define the edges of the white spaces on the black bottle .

I also used the same color combo for the sentiment that comes from the coordinating Soda Pop stamp. I used Versafine for the black text and MFT Red Hot and Amarena Cherry inks for the bold part of the sentiment.

I die cut the white panel with the second largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and I matted it twice, firstly with a slightly larger kraft cardstock, and then with an A2 white one. And here's a closer look for the bottle!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! Have you already shopped the December Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase!

And now, let's dive into today's project, that features one of the three stamps set designed by Jenoblade and called Squish Friends! But before that I have an important thing to share. This month, 10% of retail sales of the Squish Friends stamp set & Die-namics will be donated to Project Linus.

Project Linus provides new handmade blankets to children in need. Blankets are lovingly made by adults and children from all walks of life and many different sources.

So here's my project!

I decided to create a simple shaker design: I started from an A2 white panel and I used a cutter to create four square holes that reminded me of a window frame. I created a shaker element, so I layered a piece of acetate behind and I added some heart shaped sequins. In the meanwhile, I stamped and colored the images, adding a few details on the pillows with colored pencils.

I used liquid glue and foam tape to add the images below the window, then I stamped the sentiment included in the stamp set.

To complete the card, I matted it with one of the patterned paper included in the Sweet Summer Color Blends Paper Pad.

When I finished the card, I realized that that design could be perfect for a baby card too! And here's a closer look to the final result!

Hi friends! The December Release is now live and it is full of amazing products!

So, let's jump into today's project!

I created another simple design, featuring three of the critters included in the "Crafty Friends" set designed by Jenoblade and pairing them with the previous released "A very big Hi" die.

I firstly stamped the critters on some Neenah Solar White cardstock, using Memento black ink, and coloring them with the Copics listed below the post. I then cut them with coordinating dies and I left them aside while working on the rest.

I took some Distress inks with a rainbow palette of colors (Ripe Raspberry, Spiced Marmelade, Squeezed Lemon, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon and Dusty concord) and I ink blended one some white cardstock. I tried to create a sort of radiating rainbow. I then die cut the letters HI from that colored panel. I adhered the letters to an A2 white cardstock and I also arranged the critters as they were coloring them. To complete the card, I stamped one of the sentiments of the stamp set below the giant hi. And here's the finished result!
