Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT April Release Day? It will go live on April 12th at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

So, let's jump into today's project that features a new stamp set which is coordinated with some standalone dies.

I always struggle with masculine cards because I my stile has too much cuteness for boys over 5years old LOL. But as I saw the stamp set called "Here's to you" I thought I would have used it a lot for male friends who loves beer!

I really loved so much this stamp set, I love when there are lots of sentiments with different fonts and dimensions like this one. So I thought it would have been the main protagonist of the card.

I white heat embossed it at the centre of an A2 panel (made using MFT Kraft Cardstock) and I distressed the edges with some Ranger Regular Distress in Vintage Photo. I also decided to splatter some of the same ink over the panel to get some texture (which reminded me of the bubbles of the beer).

I then die cut each of the Pints from "Pint Sized Die-Namics" three times from a really light grey cardstock I had in my stash (this is from Favini, an Italian brand) and I used Copics to color the "inside" beer. I could have layered a yellow smaller piece (which is included in the set) but I preferred to color it in order to get some glass-shadings. I also used a white gel pen to create reflections. I cut the foam from white card stock and I glued it to every pints.

I attached all the pints with foam tape arounf the sentimen and since there was too much empty space on the left and on the right, I trimmed down the A2 piece to 5"x4". I then decided to layer a slightly larger panel of Smooth White to matt the whole scene and I absolutely love the final result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! Are you ready for the new MFT April Release? There are 4 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on April 12th at 10am EDT and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

So, let's jump into today's project that features the newest You're my Sunshine stamp set.

I firstly stamped all the images I wanted to use in my scene; I used the Mirror Image stamp to create the mirroring for the two rainbows on the right. I colored everything with copics (you can find the full list below) and I die cut everything with coordinating dies.

I cut a 4,25"x4,25" piece of patterned paper from the Happy Patterns 6x6 Paper Pad and I also cut a circle from some Smooth White Card Stock to layer behind the cat.

On two different pieces of Lemon Drop Card Stock I white heat embossed the sentiment and the sun, which I die cut using coordinating dies too.

I assembled the whole scene using foam tape to create dimension and I layered a 4,75"x4,75" white paper behind.

As a finishing touch, I added some shimmer over the rainbows and some glossy accent over the eyeglasses.

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Are you ready for a new MFT Release Countdown?

It's that time of the month again and today it is the first day of previews. The release will be live on

April 12th at 10am EDT.

There are so many new products that I just cannot wait to share with you all the projects I've been working on!

So, let's dive in into my first project, that features the newest YUZU Shout It from the Rooftops plate.

As soon as I saw this plate, it was love at first sight. Look how cute are that little girl and her cat!

I started my card thinking I would have done a square scene, I stamped the images on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock (which has fastly become my all time favorite) and I colored all the images with Copics - you can find the full list below the post. I love the idea of the cat and the bird talking to each other. I then die cut all the images using coordinating dies.

On a different square piece of Neenah I ink blended the sky, using Distress Oxide in Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass and Broken China. I used some blending brushes in order to have a smoother blending among the colors. I cut the panel to a 3,75"x3,75" and I layered my images down. I had to cut a little bit of the roof and I used liquid glue and foam tape to create some dimension.

I then realized I didn't like the square format and I could have used it on an A2 white panel with a word on the left (or right). It was there that I had the idea to cut all the single letters from some Eiffel Tower Cardstock and layer them to create a sort of "graphic" aspect. And I really loved it!

I also stamped the sentiment on the sky to complete my card.

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
