Hi friends! Have you already shopped the August Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase!

And now, let's dive into today's project!

I had so much fun creating this simple scene, and I absolutely love how it turned out!

I firstly stamped the background house on some peachy cardstock, using a light grey ink because I wanted a no-line look. I then colored with copics and as I always do with no-line, I used some pencils to define the edges.

On a different piece of cardstock, I stamped the fox, colored it and fussy cut it with scissors.

For the ghost, I decided to white heat emboss the illustration on some vellum paper, in order to achieve the transparency effect. I die cut it with coordinating dies. The problem with vellum is how to adhere it to the scenes, because the glue shows up. Here I used two glue dots behing the cheeks and they are enought to keep the ghost attached.

I cut the background to a strip, and I layered it on an A2 patterned paper from the MSTN Spooky Season Paper Pad. To complete the card, I white heat embossed on some black paper the sentiment and I adhered it to the card.

And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! The August Release is now live and it is full of amazing products!

So, let's jump into today's project!

I really loved those butterflies and I wanted to create a simple but elegant card. I firstly stamped the butterflies with a light grey ink because I wanted to do some no line coloring. I then carefully colored them with a pink-black-white combo, using the copic listed below the post. I also used a fineliner black pen to create all the decorations of the butterflies. When I was happy with the result, I die cut them with coordinating dies and moved into the background.

I took a piece of Summer Splash cardstock and I repeatedly stamped the blooms included in the set to create a pattern, using a darker teal ink. I die cut it using the largest Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-namics and I white heat embossed one of the sentiment included in the Lunch Box Notes at the centre. I took a 3,75"x5" piece of white cardstock and I stamped the newest Denim Background with a peachy ink to match the butterflies color and I matted the whole panel with an A2 piece of white cardstock. I then added the hexagon and the butterflies too.

To complete the card, I added some sparkly gemstones here and there. And here's the finished result!

Hi friends! Are you ready for a new release?

Today we are starting previewing it and I can assure you it is frghtfully cute!

All the products of the release will be available tomorrow, August 15th, 10am EDT.

Here it is my first inspiration, featuring the some of the newest products.

I just loved this giant Trick or Treat Die-namics that I wanted to use in my card. Since I wanted to feature the newest MSTN Spooky Season Paper Pad, I decided to cut the script from some coordinated colored cardstock: Orenge Zest, Limelight, Tropical Teal, Boysenberry and Gravel Grey (the newest paper pads have the color chart on the back, so this is extremely easy to choose colors). I then "played" with colored letters until I was happy with the result and I glued the Gravel Grey ones behind with a little offset to get the shadows.

I then stamped and colored the two critters with the copics listed below the post, I die cut them with coordinating dies.

I also white heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip of paper and started assembling the card. I chose the dotted white paper sheet and I glued down all the letters, except the O of the word OR, because the pumpkin of the bunny would have created the letter in the design.

I used foam tape for the critters and the sentiment strip too, then I die cut the left and right edges of a quarter of an inch and I layered an A2 colored sheet from the same paper pad behind. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
