Hi friends! Are you ready for the first 2024 MFT Release? It's the last preview day because the newest release will go live tomorrow, January 9th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today I have an almost clean and simple card on kraft cardstock, featuring "The Micest Thing" stamp set illustrated by Stacey Yacula.

I always think that Stacey Yacula illustrations are always soo sweet, and when I saw those ones, I instantly thought to make a simple coloring on kraft cardstock (I use the Neenah Desert Storm, which is my favorite one for this technique).

Since I wanted to create a one layer card, I firstly stamped the little mouse and I masked it to stamp the mushroom house. I then colored the image with the Copics listed below the post.

I then decided to white heat emboss one of the sentiment included in the stamp set following the "mushroom shape" and then I customized the word mush using the Letterboard Alphabet Die-namics. I also added some details with white gel pen.

To complete the card, I die cut the panel using the second largest A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and I layered it on an A2 white panel. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! Are you ready for the first 2024 MFT Release? There are 2 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on January 9th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today I have a clean and simple card, featuring one of the protagonists of the Paper Planes Stamp.

I had the idea to create a sort of "gash" in my design, inspired by the sentiment that I decided to feature in the card. I firstly stamped and colored the image I chose using the combo listed below the post, then I die cut it with the coordinating dies.

I took an A2 piece of white cardstock and I die cut the gash using one of the hills borders included in the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics. I die cut twice to get both the borders. On another A2 piece of white cardstock, I ink blended Picked Raspberry Oxide ink and the Dried Marygold. Then I layered the two panels and I stamped the sentiment following the right edge.

To complete the card, I used foam tape to attach the paper plane at the bottom of my gash. And here's the finished result!

Hi friends! Are you ready for the first 2024 MFT Release? There are 3 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on January 9th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today I have a coloring card, featuring one o the adorable dragons from the Darling Dragons Stamp illustrated by YUZU.

A night scene came into my mind as soon as I saw the stamp set but I have to admit I had no idea of what would have came out when I started creating the card.

I firstly stamped the dragon and I masked it with the Judikins Masking Roll tape. I then took some different colors of ink: a deep blue, a red, a purple, a desaturated green and a ochre and I ink blended the background from the top to the bottom. Then, I took a dark grey and I went over it: in fact you can't see all the bright colors I said but only some accents. When I was happy with the result I removed the mask and I started coloring the dragon.

I used a combo of blue/blue-green/green for the body, I colored the heart with yellow and the wings with a purple. You can find all the colors I used listed below the post.

I then die cut the panel with the second largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics and I white heat embossed one of the sentiments included in the newest Smooches stamp in the upper part of my scene.

To complete the card, I attached it to an A2 white cardstock, in order to create a white frame around. And here's the finished result!
