Today I have an almost clean and simple card to show you, featuring the Books & Buddies stamp.
I really loved this stamp set, and I initially started with a totally different idea of using it. But then I changed my mind and I went for something really different.
Since I wanted to create a one layer card, I firstly positioned the bunnies in the right spot and I stamped them, masked them with judikins masking paper and then stamped the pile of book behind. I removed the masking and I colored the critters and their books with the copics listed below the post.
I went for a different color palette, I wanted some warm colors and I decided I would have colored only the three main protagonists.
I then went into my stash and I looked for an alphabet I liked, since I love to customize sentiments. One of my favorite is the Modern Serif Alphabet Die-namics, I used it to die cut from coordinated colored cardstock the letters that compose the word RELAX. I die cut them twice, in order to get some depth. Before attaching them, I partially stamped one of the sentiments included in the JB Books & Buddies and I glued the letters down. And here's the finished result!
