Hi friends! Are you ready for the new MFT January Release? There are 4 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on January 17th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today I have a sweet card to show you, featuring the cupcake die included in the Dessert on Display Die-namics.

I just loved those tiny cupcakes, and I wanted to create as many as possibile to feature in my card.

I die cut the three pieces from different colored cardstocks (Princess Pink, Cotton Candy, Summer Splash, Chantilly Cream, Kraft) and I shaded them using coordinated Copics. I had so much fun decorating all of them, trying to create as many combination as I could.

I added stripes, dots, sprinkles, hearts, so that they look more yummy. I assembled them and I started working on the layout.

I used a 4"x5,25" Milk Chocolate panel, I white heat embossed the sentiment (which is obviously coordinated to cupcakes) and I attached all my sweeties. To complete the card, I matted it with an A2 white panel. And here's a finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Are you ready for a new MFT Release Countdown?

It's that time of the month again and today it is the first day of previews. The release will be live on January 17th at 10am EST.

The release is full of love themed products and I can't wait to show you what I've been working on behind the scenes.

So, let's dive into my first card!

When I saw the products included in today's preview, I had the idea to use the flowers illustrated by Stacey Yacula coming out of the typewriter, for a lovely friendship card.

So, I firstly stamped the illustration on some Neenah Copic White cardstock and I colored with the Copics listed below. Since there aren't coordinating dies, I carefully fussy cut all the image and I let it aside while working on the typewriter.

I die cut all the small pieces of the Typewriter Die-namics, using some Butterschtch, Eiffel Tower, Black and White cardstock. I used also some brushed silver cardstock for some small details, I assembled everything with liquid glue.

I put the flowers inside the "hole" and I started working on the background. I was looking into my background stamps and I noticed this Typewriter Text one which was perfect for my design! I stamped using Cement Grey mini ink on some light warm grey cardstock.

I attached the typewriter and the flowers and I also layered the whole panel on an A2 white cardstock. The smaller sentiment comes from the Typewriter Sentiments: Friendship stamp.

To complete the card, I added a few sparkling sequins and here's a finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Available Separately:

And now, let's move into my second project.

This is another -almost- clean and simple card, maybe a clean and simple design.

I firstly started die cutting all the pieces from the MSTN Cassette Tape Die-namics and the Portable Jams Die-namics and I assembled the main piece of my card. I used some patterned paper from the Time to Celebrate Paper Pad for the tape and some vellum as the adhesive. For the Portable Jams I used Gravel Grey and Black Cardstock.

I then moved into the background: I repeatedly stamped many of the circles included in the Take Shape stamp with grey and black ink, creating a sort of diagonal pattern from the bottom left side to the upper right. I also added some black dots with the fineliner.

I added the already prepared cassette to my panel and I stamped one of the sentiments included in the Mixtape Messages in the upper left side. To complete the card, I also trimmed down the panel to 4"x5,5" and I layered another colored patterned sheet on the left. And here's another look of the project!

And that's all for today!
