But now, let's dive into my first project!

I just loved this Mixtape Kit!

I firstly created the Mixtape Cassette using the die included in the kit, some Gravel Grey and Black Cardstock, a light grey paper and a ptterned paper from Time to Celebrate Paper Pad.

When I was a teen, I remember I used to attach adhesives on my cassettes, and I couldn't resist to create a colorful one!

I took inspiration from the color palette of the paper and I randomly stamped on an A2 piece of white cardstock all the triangles shapes on the background, using coordinating Ink Cubes. I tried to create a sort of wave, I put my cassette in the upper part of my card and I also stamped the BIRTHDAY script with black ink. I attached the cassette and I completed with a small HAPPY script on the lighter part of the mixtape.

To complete my card, I added a funny sentiment on the bottom right (it also balances the composition of the card) and I trim down just a little bit to matt the background with an A2 white cardstock creating a small frame. And here's the finished result!

And that's all for today!

The Free with $60 releasing with this month's kit is the Crafty Friends stamp set.

All the products are now available in the store.

And now, let's dive into my second project using the kit.

I wanted to create an irregular "stripe" of crafty tools, so I die cut many of them from colored cardstock and I assembled all the smaller pieces using liquid glue.

As always, I took the inspiration for the colors from a patterned sheet that I wanted to use as a matt: the striped paper comes from the Time to Celebrate Paper Pad and I used Wild Cherry, Candied Yam, Lemon Drop, Prickly Pear, Summer Splash and Tropical Teal.

All the crafty tools follow the same color scheme, and have some details in the colors I've mentioned. I've also used a silver brushed cardstock I had in my stash for some details.

I attached all the tools on a 3,75"x5,5" white sheet and I white heat embossed the sentiment from Crafty Friends stamp set on a black stripe.

To complete the card, I matted it with an A2 patterned paper. And here's a finished result!

And that's all for today!

Hi crafty friends! Today we'll reveal the MFT December Card Kit, which is called CRAFTY HANDS.

The December Card Kit will include the following products:

  • Mini Messages & More Stamp Set

  • Crafty Hands Die-namics

  • Die Cuts and Scraps Die-namics

  • Paper Goods Die-namics

  • Card Stock

Available Separately:

  • Creature Comforts Die-namics

  • Just Add Paint Die-namics

  • Tools of the Trade Die-namics

The Free with $60 releasing with this month's kit is the Crafty Friends stamp set.

All the products will be available tomorrow, 20th at 10am EST.

But now, let's dive into my first project!

I made just a simple CAS project. I had the inspiration by reading one of the sentiments included in the Crafty Friends stamp set, which is the free with 60$ purchase. I decided to pair it with the mini scissors included in the Tools of the Trade Die-namics and the Crafty Hands Die-namics, and curstomize the FRIENDS word using the MSTN Lined Letters. I also wanted a sort of fussy cut edge, and I used the Torn Paper Edges Die-namics to create it.

I firstly stamped the FRIENDS word using MFT inks in Red Hot, Candied Jam, Lemon Drop, Tropical Teal, Summer Splash, Prickly Pear and Eiffel Tower. I took the color inspiration from one of the patterned paper included in the Time to Celebrate Paper Pad. I then stamped the sentiment strip over it and I cut the panel using the Torn Paper Edges.

I die cut the newest hands and scissors and I aligned them on the bottom left side of the panel.

To complete the card, I used one of the patterned sheet from the previous released Time to Celebrate Paper Pad. And here's a finished result.

And that's all for today!
