MFT Stamps | The June Release is now LIVE!!

Yay! The June MFT Release is now live and it is full of amazing products!

Today I have an ocean themed card, featuring the Mermaid for Each Other stamp set.

I was totally inspired by a card and a You Tube tutorial (click here for the link) I've seen from Kristina Werner (@starofmay) channel: she did an amazing ocean background and I thought I would have given a try.

I took a piece of watercoloring paper and I did some wet on wet technique: i firstly put some water on the whole panel, which I fixed to a wooden board, then I added some Distress Reinkers in Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire. I did everything in a few seconds, then I let everything dry all the night.

Meanwhile, I stamped and colored the mermaids with the Copics listed below and I decided to fussy cut them, because I didn't want the white border around the image. I also took a black felt-tip-pen and I inked the white edges from cutting the paper.

When the background was ready, i trimmed it down to 3,75"x5" and I white heat embossed the sentiment at the bottom right corner, then I attached the two mermaids and I matted the whole scene with an A2 Smooth White panel. And here's the finished result!
