But now, let's dive into my second project, which features the newest Bold Blooms Die-namics.
I must say I started with a totally different idea in mind, but then I've changed it while making the card.
I firstly die cut a lot of flowers from different MFT Cardstock: Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Blue Yonder, Cotton Candy and Lemon Drop. I initially though I would have layered a piece of vellum with the smaller flower over it, and then a black center...But then I didn't like the result. So, I took some darker cardstock (if you haven't some, you could also cut from the same and darken it up with a Copic) and I cutted the coordinated smaller pieces, then the white central points.
I also took an A2 piece of white cardstock and I softyl ink blended the same colors (I used Regular Distress in Moved Lawn, Salvaged Patina, Stormy Sky, Kitsch Flamingo and Spiced Marmelade, with a really soft touch). From another A2 Smooth White panel, I die cut the word happy with the freebie of this release, which is All the Happy Die-namics, and I stamped the word birthday below. I initially thought I would have used much more flowers, but then I liked a simple "arrangement" and I layered them in a diagonal way. To complete the card, I added some silver gem and the Glaze over the centres. And here's the finished result!
