So, let's jump into today's project that features the newest Blooming Friendship stamp set!
How lovely are those critters?
I've made a rainy card, I am not ready for a sunny spring yet LOL. It is a one layer scene, but I only needed to mask the bottom part, in order to color only the scene above.
I firstly colored the four main protagonists and then the background. To create the rainy effect, I added some color strokes in front of the protagonists too: I started with a light color and then I moved into darker ones. I also suggest you to use different types of colors to get a more realistic look: here I mixed light blues, blue-violets and greys.
I then added some details with the white gel pen, as you can see in the photo.
For the sentiment, I've used the newest Thinking of You die-namics but I only added the "thinking" word. I've layered three die cuts in order to get some dimension. The rest of the sentiment is white heat embossed on a piece of Coral Cardstock and comes fron the same stamp set.
To complete the card, I added a touch of yellow with the Tiny Check Patterned Pad.
