Are you ready for a new Vault Release?
The Vault is going to open SOON and there are tons of incredible products!
Aren't you excited? The Vault will open on July, 18th at 10am EDT.
Today I have a floral birthday card to show you!
The Flashy Florals stamp is a layering stamp, perfect for people who don't like coloring and for mass producing cards.
I decided to use different pink inks, including MFT Cotton Candy and MFT Raspberry ones, for the florals. Those inks are perfect for the solid images, I also used two other pink tones from my stash to get a lighter and a medium look. I also tried to darken the edges, in order to have some shadings and I stamped the black centre in each flower too. I decided not to ink the centre perfectly, because I wouldn't have loved a perfectly solid centre.
When I finished stamping all the flowers, I used coordinating dies to cut them out and I stamped on an A2 Smooth White panel some leaves with two different tones of greys. I added the sentiment using the Happy Words Dienamics and I white heat embossed the birthday word which comes from the Happy Everything stamp.
To complete the card, I also added some pinky pearls around the composition. And here's the finished result!
Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
