Hi friends! Are you ready for the first 2024 MFT Release? There are 2 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on January 9th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!
Today I have a clean and simple card, featuring one of the protagonists of the Paper Planes Stamp.
I had the idea to create a sort of "gash" in my design, inspired by the sentiment that I decided to feature in the card. I firstly stamped and colored the image I chose using the combo listed below the post, then I die cut it with the coordinating dies.
I took an A2 piece of white cardstock and I die cut the gash using one of the hills borders included in the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics. I die cut twice to get both the borders. On another A2 piece of white cardstock, I ink blended Picked Raspberry Oxide ink and the Dried Marygold. Then I layered the two panels and I stamped the sentiment following the right edge.
To complete the card, I used foam tape to attach the paper plane at the bottom of my gash. And here's the finished result!
Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
