Hi friends! Are you ready for the new MFT March Release? There are 4 days left until you can shop it! It will go live on March 7th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you what I've been working on!

Today I have a birthday card to show you, featuring the Presents and Pupcakes stamp set.

I made a quick and easy card, trying to combine different products that are showcased today.

I firstly decided a color palette to work with, and I went for gold rose, aqua, blue and peachy pink.

I stamped and colored the couple of dog and cat, as well as the balloons and some small objects. I used some Neenah Solar White and all the colors listed below the post. I also die cut everything with coordinating dies.

I then took a 3,75"x5,5" Smooth White Panel and I stamped the Balloon Strings Background with the Sno Cone Ink. I also die cut the "happy" word included in the Bluerprint 26 Die-namics from some gold rose mirror cardstock and the "birthday" line from some deep blue one. I used that blue strip to white heat emboss the sentiment included in the stamp, that perfectly matched the design.

I assembled everything, I also layered a small strip of gold rose sparkly cardstock below the blue strip and I matted the whole card with an A2 white panel.

And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Are you ready for a new MFT Release Countdown?

It's that time of the month again and today it is the first day of previews. The release will be live on March 7th at 10am EST.

The release is full of products, including some "add-ons" for the money card series and I can't wait to show you what I've been working on behind the scenes.

So, let's dive into my first card!

I created a really clean and simple rainbow design, using the Unforgettable Birthday stamp designed by Stacey Yacula.

I firstly stamped the two images on some Neenah Solar White cardstock, using Memento Black ink. I colored everything with Copics (you can find the color list below the post) and I die cut using coordinating dies.

I then decided to use the Bold Happy Birthday Die-namics to create a "window" for the sentiment in the lower right side of the panel, which measures 6"x4,25". I die cut it, I toon another one with the same dimensions and I ink blended some coordinating Distress Oxides colors: Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. I then added the white panel over the colored one, using foam tape to create some dimension on the sentiment. I also glued down the two critters with balloons and I added the black sentiment (which comes from the same stamp set).

To complete the card, I added some clear sparkling sequins. And here's a finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

The MFT Vault has just opened and it is full of products!!

To celebrate it, I have a new card for you!

Today's card is an almost die cut card, except for the sentiment which is heat embossed.

I had the idea to use the Fancy Flourish Die to create some "branches" with Limelight Cardstock. I die cut many in order to "fill" the background.

Then I die cut some the flowers included in the Fresh-Cut Flowers Die-namics: I used Cotton Candy, Lemon Drop, Something Blue and White cardstock. I also added the center pieces from Sparkly Gold cardstock.

To assemble my "floral background", I used a piece of Heavyweight Vellum, it gived a soft touch even if the back is an A2 white panel. I added foam tape behinf each flower, so that there was some "depth". To complete the card, I used the "reverse" piece of the LJD Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows Die-namics as my centerpiece, which I gold heat embossed with the sentiment. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.
