Have you already prepared your shopping list for the MFT March Release? It's the final countdown day and the release will go live tomorrow, at 10am EST.

Today I have a fairy magical card card, featuring the You Deserve the Royal Treatment stamp set, illustrated by Tiddly Inks.

This may seem a simple card, but it has an hidden mechanism because it is an easel card.

I had the design in my mind, so as I always do in those cases, I looked into my patterned paper stash and I found the sheet that I would have used for my card. I started choosing the paper, because this one will "tell" me the color shades I will have to use to color to perfectly coordinate (the sheet comes from the Joyful Plaid Paper Pad). I then stamped the little girl and I colored her with the Copics listed below the post. I die cut her with coordinating dies, I also cut 2 more pieces of White Cardstock to adhere behind her and create depth. For the little star, I used some Gold Glitter Cardstock, and I cut it with the small star included in the Oh Baby Die-namics (it is the perfect size!).

Then, I moved into assembling the card. I took an A2 folded card and I created a score at 1,5" from the bottom. I folded it and I attached a 1,75" strip of patterned paper. I stamped one of the sentiments included in the Thrilled for You stamp set and I adhered the little girl, being careful not to add glue behind the upper part of his body. I also white heat embossed one of the sentiment included in the You Deserve the Royal Treatment stamp (which was more linear and small) on a strip of Ripe Raspberry cardstock and I attached inside the card, using foam tape (you need foam to create some depth in order to let the mechanism function)

To complete the card, I added a few gems outside the magic wand, I think it gives a cool look! And here's the finished card with the easel in action!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Are you ready for the MFT March Release? There are only 2 days until the release, which will be live on Tuesday 7th, at 10am EST.

Today I have another simple design to show you, perfect for baby cards' mass production.

I love baby products, and those ones are no exception! I had the idea to create a simple card, that can be easily customized changing the colors of the onesies.

I firstly die cut three onesies from Smooth White Cardstock and Sno Cone Cardstock. I added a few shades with Copic C1 and C0, only to give a little bit of depth. Then I customized them adding dots (with B0), coloring the clip buttons and the onesies borders (with C4) and some smaller details with a white gel pen. I also added an animal for each onesies, all of them are included in the It's a Baby Die-namics.

I then moved into the sentiment, which comes from the new released Oh, Baby! stamp set. I firstly stamped it on an A2 piece of Smooth White Cardstock with the Summer Splash ink cube, and then shifted it a little bit to overstamp the "super cute" words with a grey ink. In this way, I got the aqua shade behind it and I was super happy with the result. I trimmed down the panel to 3,75"x5,5", I attached the onesies and I decided to matt the whole panel with one of the patterned paper included in the Diagonal Gingham Paper Pad.

And here's the finished result!

Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe we are halfway to the MFT March Release Day? It will go live on March 7th at 10am EST and I just cannot wait to show you all the cards I created with the release products.

And here's today's CAS card!

You may recognize the design, because I did something similar in the past using the dachsund included in the "Jolly Molly" stamp set.

Here I used the one included in the "Hot Dog!" stamp for a similar look. I did an almost one layer card, stamping the back of his body on the lower part of the card, tracing two parallel lines with the fineliner and stamping the front of the body as the "third" line. I colored everything with copic markers, you can find the small list below the post. To complete the design, I stamped the sentiment using the Ripe Raspberry Ink Cube. I matted the panel twice, firstly with Kraft cardstock and then with an A2 Smooth White cardstock. And here's the finished look!
