Hi friends! Have you already shopped the July Release?

Today the MFT Design Team is showcasing some of the newest products, which are already available for purchase! And today, it's the new illustrator line turn, Jenoblade, which has 3 new stamps set. You may have seen my two cards from the previous days, so today I am featuring the newest Hang Out and Celebrate stamp.

I really created a simple design, but someone said "Less is more" and I think this works great for CAS cards.

I firstly looked into my cardstock stash and I found a light apricot one. I love coloring directly on colored cardstock, but it needs to be not too dark in order to get a good result. I stamped the sloth with brown ink and I quickly colored it with the Copics listed below. If you color on colored cardstock, you need to be careful not to go too much close to lines, because it absorbs more ink and there is the risk of bleeding.

I also decided to stamp the happy birthday sentiment with Wild Cherry ink and I added the strip (which is 2,25") to an A2 White panel. To complete the design, I decided to stamp the vertical sentiment with some peachy ink too, and adding a few sparkling sequins on the design. And here's the finished look!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! The July Release is now live and it is full of amazing products, including a brand new illustrator line!

So, let's jump into today's project!

I had so much fun creating this card!

I've used the newest Carnival Critters stamp set to create two small scenes, but instead of coloring everything, I left the background white and I added some touches of colors to the rest.

I firstly stamped the backgrounds using Memento Gravel Grey, and the two string of lines and the protagonists with Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored those small images with the copics listed below, and I decided to use rainbow colors for the string of ligths. I then die cut them with coordinanting dies.

I then die cut two rectangles from the newest Classic Rectangle Frames Die-namics, using the second largest frame and one of the patterns from the MSTN Rainbow Love Paper Pad. I assembled the "design" on a light grey cardstock, leaving a diagonal line, where I stamped the black sentiment.

To finish the card, I added some Glossy on the lights. And here's the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like it. Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the other product previews and for even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel.

Hi friends! Are you ready for a new release?

Today we are starting previewing it and I can assure you it is full of stamps, dies and there is an incredible news...a new illustrator line, called Jenoblade!!

Here it is my first inspiration, featuring the some of the newest products.

I made a colorful but simple birthday card, featuring the newest Happy Birthday to My Favorite Gnomie from the Jenoblade line.

You may recognise the drawing, Jenny has previously illustrated for another brand, but now MFT is her new home. And I wanted to introduce her line with a super happy birthday card.

I firstly started creating the rainbow background: I took some Dye Inks from my collection and I started ink blending with brushes from outside to the centre of the panel. I did one color at a time, being careful to "arrive" to the centre with a light amount of ink.

I then stamped one of the gnomies included in the set and I colored it with the Copics listed below, trying to get a rainbow look for him too.

I wanted to feature the newest Big Happy Birthday Die-namics in my card too, but I used only the birthday script: I die cut it twice, one from white cardstock and the second layer (which will be the shade behind) with holographic cardstock, as you may see in the picture above.

I glued the letters down, and I completed the sentiment stamping the "Happy Happy" and the "Gnomie" words. I loved the look, but I decided to add the black speech bubble too, with a white embossed sentiment.

The rainbow panel measures 3,75"x5", I then layered an A2 white one to complete my design. And here's the finished look!
